The real color strat is memorizing every single hexcode for color there is and referencing them from memory on the fly

Hexcodes are fairly easy to use once you know how they work. You can write your own hexcodes without reference then..

Circles don't have sides and all images are made of pixels; a pixel being a square. Therefore circles cannot exist in images, they only appear to be circles, if you want to get technical.

@@JadeJoystick of course, but usually, but considering the size of this circle, it would be easy to add some curve to the edges Of course wouldn't have made a perfect circle, but would have felt a lot more like one

For anyone interested in WHY you wanna hue-shift towards Yellow for bright lit areas, and towards Blue for dark shadowed areas. It's because our eyes and brains (mostly our brains have to do with interpreting colors), have evolved here on Earth, where shadows are blue-tinted due to the atmosphere, and bright areas in the daytime are yellow-tinted due to the sun. Also related fun fact, contrary to popular belief, ALL stars in the universe give off yellow light, even the most red dwarves / giants, they give off light in the warm range of household lights, while the most blue stars give off cool light similar to in an office, which still appears totally white to us. This is why some games look unnatural, with pure 255.255.255 white highlights on say a white wall in the sunshine. Because if you go outside IRL and look at a white wall (say in Italy), during a sunny summers day, the white wall is NOT 255.255.255 white, it's actually more yellowish due to the sun. This is what we instinctively "feel" is bright. The same applies to things lit by fire or a campfire, naturally. But people forget it applies to our sun too. If you were evolved on Mars, for example, you might find lighting more natural if you hue-shift towards RED in the shadow, and (still) Yellow in the light. This because the Martian atmosphere tints shadows reddish, rather than blue (though the sunset / sunrise is BLUE on Mars, so for a game set on Mars, you might wanna add cool blue shadow tint for sunset scenes). Yes it might look unintuitive, but it will give your scene a proper unique feel, as it should if its on another planet.
