Wow. Never think it gonna suit well. With 3D but high quality can easy see the odd of art like still 2D. But pixel is already gave feel of unrealistic so i didn't doubt and questioning much about realistic but gave me attention of feel like character in pixel game being alive.

Yeah, my method of rigging makes some parts of the model looks kinda distorted/not align with the grid. It will get better tho ヾ(•ω•`)o

how does the mouth work?

basically just keyframed multiple mouth mesh/layer opacity to the mouth form & mouth open parameter. so when the parameter moves, the mouth will fade from one form to another. ヾ(•ω•`)o
