For this one I used the pico 8 palette. its only 16 colors. give it a try. I have made multiple things using that palette, its very versatile.

You should really look into the pixel art program aseprite!

I have aseprite. I have used it a few times. I think it's great! The thing is i just feel more comfortable with Photoshop
