I just ended up paying way over the odds for Mini Comic Man-E-Faces Mattel don’t care about non-USA fans like us. They never did and they never will Which sucks if like me you are trying to get every toy released in this line It’s the main reason I’m not trying to get Masterverse too - every time they do something like this I end up paying three or four times the price That’s bad enough with one line. I’m not doing it with two. Though at least they *finally* allow non-USA orders on Mattel Creations I missed out on pre-ordering Eternia thanks to that policy

@@lanzotv I am indeed an 80s kid. I had MoTU growing up, not many mind you, but a few and I loved the cartoon. Naturally life happened and I moved on but recently (2011) I got back into collecting several lines and I’m really happy with what I’ve found. The toys are top notch!

My Walmart has had zero Motu origins figures besides 2 flocked panthors since this line was released back in 2020. I’ve been shopping there every few weeks, sometimes multiple times a week and I always check. Such a bummer to hear that some of these will be store exclusives.

The problem with the Cartoon Origins figures being retail (retail is always good) is that it will be yet another He-Man and Skeletor. If the other Origins figures were at retail then people would see more characters to choose from.

Just pre ordered the filmation figures & 87 Evil Lyn in the UK. Really hope they go deeper into both lines. Would love a Filmation Battle Cat!! As you've such a good relationship with Mattel i hope you can ask at any upcoming Cons if they're planning on Battle Cat & even more movie figures. Man At Arms, Teela, Beast Man. They'd all be great. Walmart exclusives for me means: I will preorder them. My order will be cancelled. They will then be labeled sold out on Walmart's site. They will be available on Walmart's site by third party sellers for three times the amount. They will never come to any local stores.

😑 I really wish they wouldn't do any more Wal-Mart exclusives. Wal-Mart always bungles exclusives: they cancel figures, or fail to release online, and help to create a scalper rich environment. Moss man cost me like $90 because I couldn't find one. They make it so difficult for collectors
