I've purchased Leonardo ("leo") TMNT 1990 movie action figure on eBay this week and Michelangelo ("Mikey") TMNT 1990 a film figures at comic con last October . There awesome but I need to get Donatello (Donnie) and Raphael (Ralph) soon on eBay 10 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I managed to get hold of a Raphael and noticed that the similar gripping hands are different in one major way; the wrist poseablity. One gripping hand has a hinge joint going horizontal (so the wrist can rock back and forth) and the other is vertical (so the wrist can move forward and back, good for pointing weapons forward).

I bought one of these a while ago, and his legs barely moved. When I tried to adjust his knee, it snapped off. I was pissed. So eventually I saved up and got another Leonardo, and the same damn thing happened to me. As soon as I got him out of the box I tried to adjust his knees to pose him and the knee snapped off again!

Be careful leaving the mutagen canisters in their hands. I had my Donatello posed with his for awhile and when I removed it the decal on the canister was completely ruined and transferred onto Don's fingers. @NECA_CS replaced it for me

The size of these figures is the only thing stopping me from buying them. They look amazing, but they are so big there aren't any good places to display them. Also there are no enemies for them to battle. If they were smaller I could mix and match them against other characters.

I definitely agree that the NECA Turtles are awesome but I also think that there are definitely some things that are not addressed in this highly positive review. While these 1/4 turtles do have some articulation, they are not nearly as good as made out to be. the head can turn left and right sure, but up and down? Barely, just barely. As far as ab joint, it exists, but when using it, it offsets where the body meets the back shell which will leave a strange look and it doesn't reset as easy back into place since it fits into a shell fold I guess we could call it. The ankles can be articulated but be careful in doing so since loosening the joint will affect future posing/ balance. These guys are very heavy, and as such they do not pose and balance so great. In fact be very careful about how and where you display these items because if they fall from too great a height, the brittle plastic will break. Did I say brittle? Yea, the plastic is brittle. Especially noticeable in the legs and I've seen a couple pics floating around or snapped legs from the turtles. NECA is to be commended for delivering a fairly priced product that goes above and beyond expectation, but it doesn't mean we should turn a blind eye and not mention some of the negatives that affect these figures. And the one thing I do wish is that NECA made it possible to have alternate heads that we could switch to in the future which would be awesome.

Mister Vader Just reading all your complaints. Two things that came to me.....Why the hell did you buy them if you're so negative about the quality of the product, and the plastic is far from brittle. I had Donnie on a shelf, and he fell from about 7 foot onto a solid floor....not a mark on him. Yeah these figures have downsides, but if I had the same amount of complaints as you, I wouldn't of bothered to waste my money. I ain't having a pop at you, I'm just trying to understand why you've even bothered to purchase them.

Please don't mistake being objective for overall negativity. I did not disagree with anything Pixel Dan said, only that some things should have been mentioned in the review. These figures are absolutely worth their price and I would've paid more for them had NECA decided on a higher price point. Luckily they did not. One can appreciate a product and still be objective with what would make it better ;)
