It's amazing how positive a tone Dan keeps when talking about something coming out of the box broken. Or the one Kraang figure where the paint on the eye wore off. He's honest and makes sure we know about these issues but keeps such a positive tone to keep those review figures coming. It's amazing watching him do it honestly. "The paint on the left eye rubbed right off. Nice figure that aside though" "The weapons on this one all broke as soon as I took them out, that's a real shame. Otherwise I really liked it" "Well folks this was a bummer, if came to life shortly after opening it and tried to kill my family. Thankfully I was able to trap it back in the box but that's gonna really limit display options. But otherwise very cool"

I love this figure! I'm really excited for the rest of the turtles! I also had QC issues with my figure I received . mainly in the right arm popping off like yours did, the sword handles are so tight to get into the hands that it actually caused paint rub, the alternate red bandana also didn't fit properly onto the ball joint it came coming off/wasn't really able to articulate much with it so I went ahead and asked for a replacement head.

The right bicep has been turned backward with the tricep in the front the entire video. Might be the issue?

Mondo isn't a Toy company. Mondo mostly specializes in posters. For this figure to have all these flaws they should stick to making posters.

There are things I dig a lot but some funky spots for sure. Sucks about anything breaking. Legends collectors are experiencing breaks with the new black suit spidey in the armpit joint. Great review as always, merry christmas Dan : )

Great review PD, fortunately my figure didn't come with anything broken, but I did notice the right leg joint was a little loose. The only complaint I have (that you didn't mention) is that the foot/ankle joints don't allow for enough forward rotation. That severely limits the posing opportunities for me. I eventually came up with a pose I really enjoy but I had to abandon some great ideas because of this constraint. Here's hoping Mondo can learn and adapt as they go.

Great review, real bummer about the broken belt on yours, you should ask for a replacement for sure. I mainly collect 1:6 scale myself and have waited years for just this type of figure to be made, I passed on the movie versions made by threezero knowing this was the turtles I wanted on my shelf, really looking forward to them but kinda worried now about those issues. BTW RED BANDANNAS FOR THE WIN!!!

I have to agree with the previous comment. i was so very close to getting Leo but passed. after seeing the qc issues im glad i did. You gave a fair review and I hope that your concerns about the figure are addressed. Which brings me to a question, do you film your unboxings to aide in replacement of missing or broken parts if needed?

Yeah, I bought this figure too. It's nice, it looks cool, I do like it, but really should only of cost about $60 to $70. I'm sure the license drove up the price, but it's about $80 too much. Also, Dan, did you contact Mondo about replacing your broken Leo? I'm curious if they'd help out since it is such a pricey item.

Great review! Love the comparisons! Yeah I was a little let down by these as well. Maybe getting the first one out there will give them more confidence. The broken sheath is terrible though, I would contact customer service.
