I had that dragon when I was a kid, along with the Knight, the Wizard, and The War Duke. War Duke was always my favorite villain of my toys, he just looked so cool!

I understand the love for all the old toy lines and why people seek them out but I like getting things that are accurate to the source material with loads of articulation. That's why I only collect modern figures and don't seek anything from my childhood, if I want a ninja turtle that resembles something from childhood I'll grab a super 7.

I about choked when I saw the price on that Sumo Turtle! Holy cow! I have both Raph and Mikey carded (in beat up shape, but still) that I got off eBay before Turtle stuff went CRAZY expensive...but THAT? That's insane!

I have the fossilsaurus! It’s AWESOME!! I got it from eBay sooo long ago it was when you still payed with money orders. Needless to say I was a little worried if I would get it but did! At the time it was the most I had ever paid for a toy , I can’t even remember exactly how much it was other than I know it was under $300 and at that time and even thinking about it now wow that was a lot!! Soo glad I did though 😍

It is very interesting that you saw those knockoff dinobots at the toy store in Florida you visited shown at the 10:45 mark in your video. The reason that I thought it was interesting is because I have one of those knockoff dinobots that was in the video it's the triceratops one that I owe. I still have my bootleg Grimlock from that one line and can remember getting it with my mom at a swap meet as a kid. I also had (might still have it somewhere) that silver ball guy and used to pretend that he was Unicorn lol. Anyway, great video and nice choice on that Ally Viper. One of the few crazy color Gi Joe figures that I owned and really liked.

I don't understand how you "don't know what you're looking at" when you look at transformers. They got their names and toylines straight on the box, they turn into fun facsimiles of cars and animals and things. To me, it's got a more immediate and greater appeal than most of the stuff you focus on.

If you're not familiar with a line, it's hard to be knowledgeable about what is rare, what is a good deal, who the popular characters are, etc. Just seeing some of them in boxes doesn't actually tell you much.

Future Dan: Next time you go into a toyshop make a note on your iphone or whatever you own, record a voice memo on your phone, or just go old school and always carry a lil note pad and write down what you want while browsing before you leave the shop before you forget. I owned two fossil combiners (I'm 44 years old) it is a NIGHTMARE toy, gold guns lots of tabs and lots of friction, when it's combined its a brick that can't stand, its not a good toy even for a kid that's why you never see it loose.always boxed complete it was a shelf warmer, goes for about $150 in Japan with a minty box $700 is crazy overpriced last one i saw sold for $300 on ebay a few years ago and was in way better shape.
