"Estrela" is/were a Brazilian Toy Company. I think the company no longer exists. They were responsible for bringing toys from He-Man, GIJOE, among others, to Brazil in the 80s and 90s. By the way, Estrela means Star in English.

Glad you had a good time there Dan, I didn't get a chance to swing by, but I was there when you hosted the Cosplay contest. I hope your desire to hunt down the various knockoff brands is because you're inspired to write a second book about MOTU Knockoffs! It would be great to see you collaborate with Nacelle, Billy Galaxy, and other folks who have cool stuff to show off. There's so many amazing knock offs that were (and still are being) made, I'd love to see you showcase as many as possible.

Thanks for the inside look in to Powercon. Nice pick ups, especially the Scareglow and the staff. I've got Origins Scareglow and if the staff glowed it would be even better. Also, thank goodness for MOTU Origins or I'd never get to relive the past glories with my son as those vintage prices are sky high! I hope you and your family get to take a much needed break. This is so awesome! We recently had a Rose City Comic Con here in Oregon, my dad works at the convention center, (I myself am starting high school. Yes I'm a young MOTU fan) and he snagged me a vintage Roboto, (gun only) along with a new Optimus Prime from the current Transformers series. I ended up bringing both of them to school with me on Monday. It'd would've been so cool to see the Roboto cosplay and compare it with my new figure!
