"Estrela" is/were a Brazilian Toy Company. I think the company no longer exists. They were responsible for bringing toys from He-Man, GIJOE, among others, to Brazil in the 80s and 90s. By the way, Estrela means Star in English.

Powercon now wants $70 shipping to GA for "attendee" exclusives and wants people to lie to Paypal and choose "family" for payments to avoid fees. They also want us to agree to accept damaged packaging.

Thanks for the inside look in to Powercon. Nice pick ups, especially the Scareglow and the staff. I've got Origins Scareglow and if the staff glowed it would be even better. Also, thank goodness for MOTU Origins or I'd never get to relive the past glories with my son as those vintage prices are sky high! I hope you and your family get to take a much needed break. Glad you had a good time there Dan, I didn't get a chance to swing by, but I was there when you hosted the Cosplay contest. I hope your desire to hunt down the various knockoff brands is because you're inspired to write a second book about MOTU Knockoffs! It would be great to see you collaborate with Nacelle, Billy Galaxy, and other folks who have cool stuff to show off. There's so many amazing knock offs that were (and still are being) made, I'd love to see you showcase as many as possible.

I'm amazed by the pristine condition of that Estrela's Wind Raider. I've never seen a box that conserved here in Brazil nowadays. BTW, the box says "Nave de Ataque", which means "Attack Ship". :)
