The paint on the face is good, the expression is ... not. Despite whatever any instructions say, at 10:02 I would put the clasps on the small connectors that go from the strap harness to the shoulder pads.

Nice, looking forward to my copy. Hopefully Mondo or a 3rd party/fan will make a Tiara-less hair set to eliminate the gap issue and give us another display option.

Stunning looking sculpt for this She-Ra figure. The paint application is amazing. Glad I got this one. Just disappointed I did not get two of these figures to create different looks to put on display at the same time. The waist grabber clamp needs to have a clear protective film on top of the black metal bars to stop paint rubbing onto the figure. Probably going to cut open a clear plastic sandwich bag to wrap around the metal waist grabber to prevent any damage to the figure. Those metal clasp are a bad idea and look to be creating a lot of scuffing on the back of the figure. There had to be a better way for Mondo to attach the cape to the back of the figure. Once again I will go ahead a place some clear plastic film under the straps to help prevent any markings from the metal clasp from the cape. Great run down of the figure and all the accessories.

Thank GOODNESS for you video, with no instructions, etc. in the box I was sitting here staring at mine, with no idea how to put on this cape, etc. Mondo come on! A little pice of paper with some drawings would have been so helpful, considering this is such an expensive figure, and her finish is definitely a little delicate in places.

Dan... I think you are installing the cape in a wrongful way... If you look closely, there's a space between the armor shoulder pads and the leather straps located close to her neck that seems to be designed for the clasps to connect; it is basically a little horizontal piece of the shoulder strap that connects the armor shoulder pads.

The truth is that this She-ra is very beautiful, she has very nice details on her dress and the sculpting of her face 14:45 gives her a very feminine touch, how spectacular these Mondo figures are, they are great to collect greetings 👏🏻💪🏻 🇦🇷

Thanks for showing how to put the cape on. I actually tried to put the hooks into her shoulder straps instead of the back straps. No wonder it didn't go all the way in!

You didn't attach her cape correctly. The hooks go higher up, next to the shoulder pads.

I can't wait to get mine. I was surprised to see that some folks got their shipping notices already. So, Pixel Dan - Since the toy companies may very well listen to you, since you're an influencer, and since they will never listen to us regular consumers, maybe you could voice the desire to get a new "bangs" accessory sent out to those of us who ordered She Ra, so we can pose her properly with the Mask Tiara over her eyes. Super 7 did this with their Panthro and Jackalman figs... it would be great if Mondo could do that for us. What do ya think???

nice review Dan! she looks amazing....but i think you put the hooks for the cape wrong...they hook next to the shoulders between the leather harness and the gold shoulder pads..that way you dont have to scratch the skin on the back and you dont have all this loose fabric in the middle !

For future figures, maybe the rubber tips of the stand clip should be colored to match the figure's torso, so any rub off isn't that noticeable.

Maybe you can mention to Mondo that they need to improve their shipping practices. They ship in the thin cardboard "shipping boxes" that offer little to no protection and every single figure I have gotten from them so far has some kind of damage to the internal packaging. For the premium they are now charging for these figures, they could at least make an effort to get them to us in better condition. Especially once my Battlecat ships, I'm not paying that kind of money for something that shows up with damaged packaging...

I'm a little surprised they didn't use clear rubber/plastic for the tips on that stand, definitely would have preventing any rub marks from them. Also...with that classic toy/mask tiara...how would it look if you flipped her bangs upside down, would it follow the rest of he hair backwards, or would it stick up too high?

For me it is my first Mondo Motu Figure too. I didn't like the design of some of their first wave of Motu figures (He-Man, Skeletor) and I missed cool figures like the classic Scareglow and Mer-Man. She-Ra looks awesome, can't wait to unbox her myself but it is a little bit disapointing with her head. All that holes in the headsculpt because of the masks. And I hope she can stand good alone without that generic mondo massproduction stand.

The Kowl alone is almost worth the purchase lol. Very Filmation. Personally not a fan of She-Ra's face though. She looks more like Barb-Wire or Holli Would from Cool World. Looks fine in general but definitely not giving off a She-Ra/Adora vibe IMO. The essence of the character is sorely missing with that face and expression.

It's too bad then did have a hair piece to go with the mask form of her Tiara. It's also too bad then didn't create hair Plugs for the sides in case you wanted her without the Tiara. This is the only Mondo Figure I've ordered. I hope they made a Teela.
