I was really impressed by this demo back in the day. I should play it again!

Dude. Excellent review. I bought this game at a supermarket in like 1997. It was amazing. I had a joystick and I loved the chopper. And when the guy would say "rockets". I was bummed you didn't include that. Lol.

+Kevincarr All the voice cues in this game were done well. ;)

Pixelmusement dude. Did you even know about this game when you were young? Or did you just make a review based on demand? I'm not being snarky, I'm just curious. I'm 27. How old are you. Also, fun fact, my dad taught me what napalm was because of this game.

This game is so good that i played through (the shareware version) twice, the first time i started it. The ending music somehow reminds of "Falco - Out of the dark"... at least the rhythm does

Curiosity got the best of me and I ordered a copy of the B&N Software edition. I'll let everyone know if it's the full version or not when it arrives!

Yup! It is the full game. I did a quick video on it here (briefly featuring another awesome Vision game!): kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoDOZoiBo5qXlbM

Lol at the beginning. XD It's like you're controlling a mechanical chirping bird armed with a chaingun and missiles.

*Kris Asick:* I had previously watched this ADG video, and totally failed to recognize this game as one I had played on my cousin's husband's computer (at the time). What version he had, I have no idea, but I had no difficulty in buying this year a sealed CD-ROM fully retail version, with two screenshots and the Epic Megagames logo on the back of the case (no box). However, I did have difficulty in verifying what game I was looking at when shopping, and the listings were indeed sketchy, with very little actual product photos to go on.

KZbin seems to forget which videos I've watched from start to finish long ago, though it does remember which videos I've 'liked' or 'disliked'. Just a possible explanation of how I failed to recognize this game.

+Christopher Noel Also considering I was still on Blip when I made this video. The KZbin switch started in 2014 and was finalized in 2015 when Blip died. :P

This looks and plays like a poor mans Jungle Strike, Desert Strike, and Urban Strike.
@kevincarr84346 жыл бұрын
Vernon Schaal jungle strike was a piece of crap. Play this game for 2 minutes and see why it's so much better. It's an unknown masterpiece.

Nice in-depth look. Theshadowsnose recently did a video of the Amiga version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoSnepSZjNNnmsU I mentioned your video in comments there.

Another game I had a demo of, hella fun. I tried playing it on an online emulator and it ran/sounded like absolute dogshit.

Yeah... if you're playing an old DOS game in a browser window or through a website in general, there's a VERY low chance it's going to run its best given that these things are set up en masse instead of attention being given to properly setting up each and every game on these sites. It's not like an NES or Genesis where you have ONE piece of target hardware to emulate, DOS has a near INFINITE number of hardware setups and possibilities, all of which need to be accounted for through custom emulation configuration, none of which typically are unless you do it yourself. :P
