Took me a while but I finally found it. I played this as a kid on my dad’s computer back in 1992. I had forgotten the name of this game. Thanks for posting this

Yes I actually remember playing this game in Jr. High class on the computer. It is SUCH a trip to see it and also be playing it again. I got it working on Boxer and it runs just fine. To bad this game was never finished, it would have made for a great coffee break game. I also… kinda like the old-school graphics. I felt the same way about graphics for like Chip's Challenge and Castle of the Winds.

I LOVED this game as a kid and played it A LOT. But you are correct, I knew about it, played it, but had no idea what it was called.

Swear to whatever you like, I recall playing this before 1990 in a purely ASCII environment. But I can't quite find entirely what I recall. "Super Star Trek" looks like the closest. Interesting to see this looks almost exactly like it . . .

If you'll ever do another one of these type of Star Trek games (TVTropes classifies it as the "Star Trek Text Game"), I recommend EGA Trek.

+Endy Mallorn It's kinda hard to call these "strategy" games as the only strategy really is to keep your numbers good. I think it qualifies more closely as an "adventure" or "simulation". :B
