Oh! Caroline All this talk of weddings, brought on a tear or two. My lovely granddaughter is getting married next July. We just celebrated her graduation from University & she and her fiance bought and remodeled a lovely home on the lake. We just finished about a week ago. My granddaughter is not a heavy makeup wearer, but I do think this look is lovely. She's a sprite of a girl. Barely 5' blonde, blue eyed and a strong wind would blow her away. She has chosen two wedding gowns. One for the wedding service & another for the reception. Which will be held at the lake pavilion. She has 6 bridesmaids and I love the idea of the goody bag. I will definitely give it a mention as she has said she wants to do something different & has asked my assistance as I was once a party planner. She's all about different & has even declined a regular shower for a fun day at the lake with boating, skiing, barbeque the month before which is a combination bachelor & shower party. Helping the refugees in Ukraine in lieu of wedding or shower gifts. It's an exciting time and we need some happiness with all that has been happening in the World & I am so proud of the Woman my daughter & SIL have raised up!

Hi Caroline, I'm an absolute beauty addict and suprisingly I've only just found you! I'm so happy I have 🤗 I have consumed more makeup content than I care to admit and I love how organic your videos are, prepped with loose thought, not overly orchestrated (at least that's how they appear), any way I love your application of using the same foundation in two different finishes, suprisingly I just don't ever see that technique and it looks gorgeous. What a beautiful look, as always….can I add on another note that I purchased the Jones Road Miracle Balm in Magic Hour after weeks of deliberation! It wasn’t until I saw you try it again a few weeks ago that I thought I’d give it a go and I’m really glad I did, as it is not as ‘obvious’ as I’d thought it would be and gives me, I feel(!), a really nice ‘youthful’ glow as it did you in your video. I also found that using the excess from my hands on my fine curly hair works well too! So if anyone has any doubts give it a try..as long as you break the seal it isn’t sticky. Best wishes xx

I liked the use of two foundations, radiant and matte, light and dark, to patchwork strategically onto the face. I also enjoyed how five minutes with a change of eye and lip colour brought the evening look to a new level. Thanks as always for the tips today Caroline. Love! I’m surprised at how simple it was. You really show how if you get the basic elements right it doesn’t need too much fiddling 😁 Thanks for the tip about concealer over the lips to get the true shade of the lipstick. Oftentimes when I see wedding look tutorials, there's such a concern about not being too trendy that everything seems a little bland or kind of retro when the brief was to shoot for timeless. Really, the most flattering and timeless thing a person can do is to look like themselves.

Mascara face is actually a natural reaction caused by having something so close to our eyes. It’s partly a protective response and also partly due to the fact that our eyes try to focus on anything close to our eyes, even if we know we don’t need to see it.
