Thanks for this educating video. I found out when I click on SELECT AND MASK, what happens in your video where the cat image become completely dark does not happen in mine ( am using photoshop 2021). It worked when I was following the teaching but when I wanted to do it on my own without the video guide (just to be sure I have mastered it), when I hit the select and mask, the cat does not completely become black (as in your video in 1:46). I believe I have mistakenly touched something. can you help please

I cannot thank you enough for sharing your time and mind-blowing talents with us. Your enthusiasm is SO infectious. I was intimidated by learning more advanced skills with Pshop until I found you. The confidence I am building with the tools you are teaching me is growing and growing (plus, it doesn't hurt that you are so handsome. Makes the tutorials so easy to watch. ;P )! Beautiful result, Unmesh! It would be amazing to see a similar tutorial for complex backgrounds. Like with lots of mixed lights and darks. That happens a lot - a photo taken outside, let's say, that needs to then be used on a solid background. Thank you for all that you do! Keep up the amazing tutorials. They're getting better and better all the time.

Hello, I wrote an email to you but not sure if you received it. How would you proceed in flattening the layers and keeping the effects if you need to hand the final image holding the transparency background for your client to place it in any background they want? I can see the effects do not hold when flattened to 1 single layer (merged) in order to keep the transparent background. Is there a video you can point me to?? Thanks!!!!! ⭐

Why is the editing of the edges so hellish fast? What resolution does the cat have? I'm trying one in 7kx4.7k and it's slooooow. Also - i understand it's way better to show that on a completely in focus subject - this mostly is achievable in a controlled evironment with enough light to be able to shoot f11. Outside, natural light style you often have OOF areas on the body already - my first tries were not promising.
