It looks that the new design is not suitable for glass plate negatives anymore.

How so?

@@HamishGill It looks that if you put the negatives on the back side of the frame, that they have to be thin (transparent plastic film) The old model had guiding pins on the diffuser, so a glass plate would then fit.

How thick is a glass plate?

@@HamishGill 6 x 9 cm have thicknesses between 1.4mm and 1.7mm, 4 x 5" up to 2 mm

Wessel Koster it should still work then. The inner depth that the diffuser slots into is just sort of 3mm
