TCAs - the tricycles Drugs names - Drugs ending in triptyline like amitriptyline and nortriptyline (the electrician ‘tripping’) Drugs ending in pramine like imipramine, clomipramine and desipramine (the ‘premier’) Doxepin (the ‘Dock pin’) Indications - Depression (crying boy) Nerve pain from chronic diabetic neuropathy and fibromyalgia (messy wires indicate nerve pain) Imp side effects - Orthostatic hypertension (dizzy electrician falling) Anticholinergic effects like dry mouth, urinary retention, tachycardia etc.( symbolized by broken cola) TCA over dose is lethal (the big tricycle is the one that’s falling)
