There is a way to Hide the Scaled up Egg on frame 21 by putting key frame with “I” on the Camera icon - by hiding it on frame 21 - so on 21 it will not render and will be hidden

"X" maybe needs two actions, but "X" is already where your left hand is resting, so you don need to move neither one of your hands, atleast for me it would be a drag to reach for rhe delete button every time. "X" button is so ingrained in my muscle memory, that sometimes i dont understand why something is not deleting while using other programmes, even just windows 😆

You add the verts that you want to have particle distribution to a vertex group, then in cloth settings under field weights, you select that group under density.

Love it! But i can't find cell fracture.. it's not under object- effects. Only the hair, explosion, smoke and liquid...

U have to enable the add-on in edit> Preferences>Addons and search it up,enable it and save preferences

hi my cell fracture creates cells with distance between them. the settings are just like in the tutorial, i even tried to change some parameters, hoping for similar results like the tutorial but no chance. every cell seems to have space between the other cell. any ideas what this is about?

9:39 When I do CMD+L to select all the vertices from half broken egg, it selects the whole egg and crack...(everything) any idea what's wrong?

Scroll until the viewport is on the inside of the egg and select one from the crack its self. you can hovor over the vert and press L and its the same action as in the video.

Not really great to be teaching people such hacky ways of doing things. Changing the star frame of an already baked simulation is not correct and saving and reopening is simply corrupting the end of the bake, speeding up the simulation or some other non standard behavior that may or may not work on a future or older version of Blender. Either setup the scene before baking and use the correct start frame from the get go. Or for such a simple simulation just re-bake or if you need full control after the fact just bake to keyframes so you can easily time things. You also could have avoided the entire situation of needing to swap the two eggs by simply enabling auto smooth so the fractured egg didnt have shading issues around the top and bottom half
