Been going through hush x vid's and this is the best review i've found, it's a bit more comprehensive than either stock full on metal or stock weedy thin clean sounds that not many people use for very long in most songs really. I'd love to know the quality of the pickups as it could make for a semi permanent guitar for a sensible price. I think the cherry on top would be a decent quality trem' to maximise the guitar's versatility, but unfortunately there appears to be no room left for such. Thanks, that was refreshing.

Steve, can you offer more details on the dimensions and shape of the neck -- the radius, the depth/thickness of the neck at the 1st and 12th frets, and the shape of the carve (thin C, thick U, D, etc)? Donner does not provide this information anywhere publicly, but it's the deciding factor in every guitar for me. Thanks for any details.

Eartips - I have to buy a fair number of them for my on stage In-Ear Monitors and my noise-cancelling shooter earbuds. You need to replace them every month when you use them constantly. Much better setup than the acoustic with its Allen key tuning system.

Hi Steve, Just got this guitar but finding the action way too high. Even after adjusting the trussrod and lowering the bridge saddles...the lowest that I'm able to get the action on the low E is 2mm at the 12th fret. How did you find the action on your guitar?

Neither this one nor the acoustic one will have a very loud acoustic sound. It's a solid body guitar. You could certainly strum it and get sound, but it won't be like a normal acoustic guitar.

I really like my couch noodlers on the light end of the spectrum. Which is why I have a glarry 170 kicking around my living room, but something like a hush would probably be even lighter. :)

Complete noob to guitars. I just got this one and plugged the headphone in. It just sounds like an acoustic guitar. What do I need to get to make it sound "electric", like the way it sounds in the video? And turning the tone knob just seems to increases a static noise...normal?

DON'T BUY THIS unless you want to risk a world of pain. Bought one and the pickup selector broke after a month. Donner's customer service is non-existent. No telephone number and they ignore all emails. BEWARE!
