From Sterling. Position 1 is bridge in series, 2 is bridge in parallel, 3 is both in series, 4 is the inside 2 coils in series, 5 is neck in series. I had to get info as well so glad to share.

Pixxy maybe earling a grey shirt may help the guitar pop out a bit more. It tends to get lost amongst all the black. As a viewer I can't see any of the flame

Great demo! I was wondering how good the Sterling Axis is. Sounds like its a killer guitar. I've got the EBMM version, and its a great guitar, not in love with the 10 in. neck radius but it still feels and works great.. Thanks Dude!

Great Review, thanks Steve ! 😊 We'll trust your Flame Top assessment . 😉 Sterling gives any Player, an affordable way to try out Eddie's neck Carve . I wish they came with a Floyd Rose Trem . The EBMM 4x2 Headstock is still one of my Favorites, and is where EVH's Wolfgang shape originated ! Cheers ✌️ 🤘

If you get one in "Trans Gold" finish and put a top mounted Floyd on it, you have basically a budget friendly, 90's EVH tribute guitar from the "F.U.C.K" & "Balance" eras.

I had a sterling but i found the neck to be too narrow for my big ham fingers :( and the single coil pickups were too bright, but things may have changed by now, it was a while ago. That guitar looks very nice, I will have to look at them again ...thanks Steve

Bought a Sterling CT50 Cutlass Pro. $600 and absolutely BLEW me away. Roasted neck, locking tuners, bone nut etc. Such a nice guitar. And also bought 2 Ibanez AZES guitars, $300-$350 SSS & HSS also blew me away. Guitars have come so far for the money nowadays. The Ibanez AZES pickups are absolutely insane with the extra switcher control. The Sterling pickups are perfect too.

Man that baby is GORGEOUS! And it sounds like a billion $. I mean... everything you play on sounds incredible. hard to tell sometimes, about the actual guitar. But yeah - that thing is crazy good sounding. I've been jonesing for one of these for a while. Gotta pull the trig sooner or later on one! Great vid!

The older OLPs were better made than the current Sterlings. The EBMM models naturally eclipsed both import versions. I have all three at various times because i couldn't get enough of EBMM guitars. They're the best for traveling/gigging because they're built solid and compact.

Real nice guitar and here's the but.... any guitar over $125 should have locking tuners. The slew of Asian guitars that I've played over the past 4 yrs had inexpensive locking tuners, and I never saw a bad one - although many had zero lube, and after a light douse they worked as good as many of my guitars that had Schallers, Gotoh, or Grovers. To my point just looked at a set of inexpensive Grovers $70, and then a set of Guyers for $50.. funny. Guyers used to be $19 four years ago on Aliexpress.
