5:17 Students are allowed to work more than 20 hours till november 15th of 2023 provided they were in Canada or had applied for a visa before 15th nov 2022. Adding this point to avoid unnecessary confusion.

The original understanding was that (1) you need to be in Canada with your study permit on 7th Oct 2022; or (2) had applied by 7th Oct 2022 and waiting for final approval. Then you can work fulltime while studying from 15th Nov 2022 to 31st Dec 2023. If you apply for study permit after 7th Oct 2022, the old rule of working 20 hrs a week while studying remains.

Pay attention to rule changes. After 1st September 2023, graduates of private un-subsidized colleges in Quebec are no longer eligible for PGWP. There are 48 such establishments including: Cestar College, Avalon College, Canada College, CDI College, Cumberland College, College of Aeronautics, Matrix College, Montreal College of Information Technology, Greystone College, Herzing College, Kensley College, Milestone College, National College of Science and Technology, St-Michel College, Ascent College of Technology, and Trebas Institute.

Hey @PiyushCanada, we also need a full time status for all our semesters except for the final semester which you may or may not need to hold a full time status ( you can also hold a part time status for your final semester ) and it should be fine. Before dropping any course at a regular semester, people should make sure that they don’t change their full time student status to a part time student status for taking lesser than required courses for a full time status. Thought this might help

Yes,can do full time job.The information is available on university of Toronto page. If you are starting a new study program--- U can work full time if u meet the following requirements-- -u were already allowed to work off campus during previous studies --u have a valid study permit or applied for extension before expiry -- recieved written confirmation from your institute regarding course completion - received letter of acceptance from a DLI for another full time course. If u fulfill the above conditions, u can work for max.150 days between 2 courses as a full time employee.

Bro my classes start from September but my medical expires on July 23rd..so can i come to Canada before that

I deferred last year and was ready to go this year. Yesterday came to know, my course is changed and college has enrolled me in that course. What do I do?

Thanks a lot sir for amazing advice ! Sir, I want to know that after which date I am able to work part time like according my offer letter start date of my course is 28th august 2023. So now I am able to work or not ?
