Pizza party at Boulder Beach Campground

This week we hit the road to one of my favorite campgrounds near Las Vegas, Boulder Beach Campground in Lake Mead! We hang out in Boulder City for the night and made our way back to camp to make pizza on the Coleman stove using our Lodge double cast iron set!

You should try that with the Coleman Oven. Fits disposable 8x8 pans. I generally use it for cinnamon rolls

As a flatbread baker the oven I used was minimum 550F. I’d have got a hot bed of coals in the campfire and made double the amount of pizza with 1/2 the toppings. As a rule I go light for flavor. Cooking the dough is what it’s all about and getting the rising time right.

Try Tembo tusk scottle use a wire rack put a 1/4 cup of water cover 10 min the best pizzas get the Boboli pizzza crusts

Nice! I've never tried to do pizza with the wirerack on the Tembo (only used this method for Cinnamon rolls), i'd think it would be too steamy for it to get crisp on the bottom? but I guess you could steam it first then put it directly on the skottle to crisp the bottom?

Effing laughed my head off. Not a good thing due too with my health. But when you actually used the blow torch…..which I assumed you were jagging the wife and not going to do it…….[for me I’m a dead man with my wife]. Anyway when you cranked it on and. Blasted the pan before pulling the paper thing, HA that’s some funny shit right there, even Larry The Cable guy would agree. Enjoy the videos who knows trails make cross if the heat can get under a 100 blustering degrees. Stressing my van’s AC limits could be a costly mistake. But we camp similar my wife and our dog. Just a heads up, but I’m pretty sure that is an oleander bush at your campsite. It looks like you put the flowers on your dog’s collar. Oleander is highly toxic to dogs and cause death. Be careful out there.
