Also at the Japanese Domino's Pizza, the Japanese large is the size of US medium and the Japanese medium is like the US "personal" size from LAX.

The reason for not eating the blackened part is said to be its carcinogenic properties. Excluding the crust from bread is done for texture reasons.

いつもリスニングの練習で楽しく学んでます!主人の出張で今アメリカに住んでます。アパートなんですが、清掃員が落ち葉をブロワーでバンバン飛ばして掃除してるのか遊んでるのか？って感じでした。アメリカでは箒（ほうき）とかは使わないですか。

Try OK Store’s pizza. They have a bakery inside the store, pizza is cheap and tasty.

Japan imports 98.3% of cheese for processing such as for pizzas, shredded and sliced cheese from Australia, USA and so on. Japan imports tons of wheat as well as sausages (at least meat as ingredient for it). So Japanese pizzas must cost that much.

What I still don't understand is why Japanese pizza costs x3 as much as in the States. I can maybe swallow x1.5 to x2, but not like x3 (Actually probably costs even more than x3, pound for pound for the smaller size). Why??? I understand maybe both cheese & meats (somewhat) cost more in Japan, but I still don't think these ingredients cost x3 than in the US.
