Getting any rank is acquired by getting enough points in the level. You can get either a D, C, B, A, or S Rank based on your performance at the end. Getting to B isn't too difficult if you're aiming for most of the collectibles in a level, but if you want to hit S rank you will have to pull up some leg work.
To get a P Rank in a level, it is expected that you do the following things within one run of any level:
Kill an enemy before leaving the first room
Get enough points for an S Rank
Find all toppins
Find all secrets
Get the secret treasure
Go through the Lap 2 portal
Never drop your combo once

It took my life essence to get an S rank on this and this guy just goes ahead and *gets 3 secrets, all of the points in the level , gets the treasure door, does a second lap of the entire escape sequence and on top of all of that he does it all in one combo* Update: I P ranked this level recently and found out that its not really that bad

It wasn't that bad, right? He did not knocked all the bottles however. Near the first secret there's a couple of bottles that you can miss if you're too fast, and they give 10 points

Idk why but this is my favorite level, no idea if its the atmosphere, the mechanics, or the music, or if its just the way this levelfeels designed to go fast, because the Weenie Mount is basically if the Knight transformation had good horizontal movement but pisspoor vertical movement. Its a bit awkward to get used to, but once you do, it feels fun.

@@liammq9548 bloodsauce is tricky because of that narrow section, it’s a terrible combo ender. if you can just get that part down, it should be smoother sailing. it took me a couple of tries to get down, so don’t get deterred if you can’t get it down immediately.

You really should play this for yourself, playing the game and playing for p rank are veeeeery different. The game even dissuades you from doing p ranks, with an npc saying something along the lines of "it's very hard, so don't feel bad if you don't want to go for it". There is so much more to the game than the p rank, and I'd personally be so sad if this masterpiece of a game undersells after how long it was in development
