Funny how a lot of people like to criticize these old movies,I love them. What in hell do they expect for 1936? As for the hats, hasn't any one heard of the ten gallon hat?

I'm sorry, and I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I'm always going to laugh at some of those hats. They're silly, and I can try to hold it back, but sooner or later there's going to be a real zinger that catches me off guard. I love them, they've become some of the highlights of my days.

I must admit, this is a real fiction story, regarding a sort of electrical wave taking out a gas engine like shown in this picture. Lots of fancy flying, trying to make out the plane was in distress (all the flips and turns, climbs, and falls. First thing a piolet would do if engine cut out, would glide, level as far as possible, riding the air pockets for distance, in finding a safe place to land the aircraft, without damaging it like it would be in a real crash. First sene regarding the plane in trouble, and crashing, did inpress me very much. It was easy to see it was all fake.

Well, yeah, but that's why it's so fun. Real trouble with an aircraft is much less exciting, and much more terrifying, but it is _much_ safer and more entertaining to see shenanigans in a movie. Just let go and suspend your disbelief, and enjoy the ride.

At 21:30 I can't get over that hat Tim McCoy wears! It is so huge and comes to a point on top of his head.

I hope in the three years since you've watched this movie you've enjoyed many more Tim McCoy hats. He gets some real doozies.

@11:53, Dick Curtis (Charlie) died at 49 yrs from complications of lung cancer, but not before making over 200 films, including Three Stooges shorts. (wiki)

What's interesting about Tim McCoy westerns is the plot holes the size of pickup trucks. One example is that when his character Tim Toomey gets to the outlaws' hideout the idiots let him keep his loaded gun as they lead him inside. Still, for a western fantasy, it ain't bad. StocktonRob

Funny thing as well, his boots making noises. The goons will hear someone outside...😅😅😅

Its interesting how Tim can fire a single shot and kill a bad guy but then in the lab its a big shoot out and he can’t hit any of them. Hilarious but always fun to watch. I’ll take his movies any day over modern cgi hype!
