if anyone is curious, the Garibaldi biscuit is named after Giuseppe Garibaldi, a general who famously fought with an army known as the Redshirts to try to unify Italy in a single kingdom in the 1800. He was exiled and went to England, where he received a warm welcome - the biscuit was created years later and named after him!
