Nice game and showcase of how Starmie works against mixed offense... I guess she's good support for Skarmory and Blissey who can get broken through by mixed offense. (New player trying to learn)

Yes, defensive Starmie fits nicely on TSS builds to deal with mixed attackers and to provide some defensive utility with Thunder Wave and Rapid Spin. It can sometimes be very passive though and you really have to stay proactive so that you don't fall behind in the Spikes war

What Starmie also provide is an important Fighting resist, which TSS usually struggles with.
