The best part of this entire thing is Wings spending 2+ hours saying he will never change his ways with everyone telling him to just do it and he will get used to it. Then he tells Kyle just to use the PS4 controller and he will get used to it. I really wish one of them would have caught it and just went off on him. P.S. I have to give Kyle a ton of credit. If it were me I would have told Wings to fuck off and to get the hell out of my house.

What Wings needs is NOT a new DIET, but a better WORK ETHIC. A diet that focuses on 1-2 meals a day because he's too lazy to eat more than that? That's just ridiculous! At the beginning of this, I was proud of you Wings, I really was. I was rooting for you because YOU were pushing YOURSELF. At the beginning, you put in EFFORT but now, all of that is gone. You're ignoring their recommendations and regiment and just following what you think will help. You're telling them "No" when you should be following what they say. IT'S FUCKING BOOT CAMP! You think saying "No" to your superiors is a good idea? You think that a magical diet that completely caters to your way of life will just appear out of no where? No. The world doesn't work that way. When people want to lose weight, they put effort into it. When people want to become smarter, they have to put effort into it. When people want to succeed in life, THEY HAVE TO PUT EFFORT INTO IT. I'm done. Listening to you for 1 hour whine, make excuses, cop-out, and insult your friends that just want to help you is enough. Before trying to fix your weight, you should try to fix your work ethic first. THAT is the one thing that's preventing you from succeeding. NOT the programs or diets you've been doing.

Honestly, the man is unable to be helped. I respect the fuck out of Kyle and Kitty for putting up with him, but I don't think this boot camp will be successful. Wings will lose maybe 35-40 lbs when it's all said and done, and he will have put all of that back on by the new year. Guarantee it. He's just going to go back to living life the only way WingsofRedemption knows how, and that is fast food and videogames. He'll get a personal trainer, and not cooperate with him/her. He/she will quit or get fired, and Wings will- once again- be on his own. Festering. Love the guy, but I think he has already accepted his fate. He is ok with the fact that he is going to die very young because of his obesity. Sadly, he will be remembered as the guy who always gave up. That's the part that gets me. He is ALMOST an inspiration. Instead, he is who I DON'T want my kids to grow up like. Not because he is morbidly obese, but because he is a quitter. He gives 50%, 100% of the time. Had he worked his ass off all month at Kyles, did as he was told, and lost a shit load of weight, I would have looked up to him. Instead he's the guy who looked at the immovable object, and said "I won't move it." What a shame. "I won't eat seven meals a day." "I won't cook my own food." Fuck you Wings. You are the kind of American that makes me want to move out of this country. You can find a million problems, and solve none. Not because you can't, but because you don't want to. You're lazy. But hey, keep kicking 50% ass at Kyle's. TL;DR I think the story of Jordie Jordan is a tragedy. Just an additional thought to this mini rant: Kyle has shown Jordie a door. All Jordie has to do is walk through that door, and he can become Jordie Jordan the KZbin guy who shed 10% of a ton of fat and went on to live a glorious life of being a video gaming firefighter. He'll live into his sixties and get to tell his grandkids of the all battles he has won throughout his life. Instead, it appears that Jordie has walked up to the door, and refused to open it. I think he's afraid to walk through that door because he knows that he will have to fight like hell to become the man he wants to be. Instead he is content with being a morbidly obese man who will likely die of weight related problems in his mid forties. It's sad to watch, but it looks like that is the life he is choosing to lead. He is choosing to live as WingsofRedemption instead of Jordie Jordan.

I'm completely speechless right now. Wings, you need to change. You don't want to change, even though you say you do. Sometimes you need to do things that aren't ideal or easy, but you do it anyway because it's right. You need to completely change your diet, but you don't want to. You don't get it. The type of diet you want, will never help you lose weight. I hate cooking, but why do I do it? So I can stay healthy and fit. Frozen meals? That shit will never help you reach your goals. 1-3 meals per day is not healthy and will not help you reach your goals. Minimum 3 balanced meals per day plus 2 modest snacks is what you need. Most of the healthy people in the world eat this way. The fat people eat 1-3. You need to eat normal and maintain a normal (8 hrs, no more - excess is not healthy) sleep schedule. Eat right, sleep right and exercise and everything will fall into place. The weight will come off, your energy level will go up and your depression will vanish forever. Stop making excuses and make the commitment you're afraid of. Take control of the situation and do the right thing. Never give up, stay strong, and for fuck's sake listen to the PKA crew. They are speaking the truth and want to help you success. They know what you need to do, but you seem too blind or stubborn. Need some motivation or general knowledge of what you need to do to meet your goals on your own? Go to www.bodybuilding.com and read the fitness articles. You can get greats ideas and motivation from that site. Lots of diet information there too. The information on that site changed my life forever. Commitment starts right now, not tomorrow. Commit for the rest of your life.

Wings, I work on a farm. Sometimes I have loads of fun spreading shit in a nice big tractor, mowing fields, hauling bales, fixing equipment, etc. But sometimes I have to do some really shitty stuff, like splitting and stacking wood (which I hate), helping with barn chores, and cleaning the pig pen. I make it fun. I listen to music or PKA, I talk to my coworkers, whatever! I figure out a way to make it something that I enjoy and can be happy doing, and you can do that too.

Regarding being embarrassed about people looking at Wings's truck, it's pretty obvious. He has a devastatingly low self image and doesn't think he deserves any of the pride or admiration. It's why he's so uncomfortable with taking a compliment. It's why he nitpicks on the irrelevant inconsistencies in Woody's compliment. It's so he can shift the focus and therefore won't have to take the compliment at all. Your compliment is flawed so it has no validity. Wings is extremely lazy in more ways than one. He is physically lazy, he is emotionally lazy, he is mentally lazy. It's not even pride that makes him hate when people give him a free ride. It's the opposite of pride. Listening to wings be so down and un-motivated to lose weight annoys me, Because of many reasons. Firstly it annoys me because of the way he says repeatedly he can't eat 7 meals a day, yes 7 main meals are hard to do but 7 meals which 4 of them are just a piece of fruit or a yoghurt, come on that's just lazy. Secondly it annoys me because he say's he wants to lose weight to be able to be a fireman and quit youtube and then 5 seconds later says he can't put the effort in, well then he will have to result in staying on KZbin where he talks about his "American Dream". If you don't put the work in you won't achieve success. In my opinion what he really needs to do is quit KZbin and PKA now and focus on losing weight, If he keeps the channel going with no more uploads he will still get a decent wage and he can have a donation page up still, But i think the thing pulling him down is KZbin. If he didn't have KZbin to start off with he would have to lose weight and i think he would had done it ages ago. Rant over.

If you viewer base in in the west coast you need videos done and up at a certain time. You can't release a video at 5 AM Western and expect your audience to watch it.

I am currently in a situation where my friends are helping me lose weight and getting in a better condition, and I must say the difference between me and wings is that I'm listening to my friends tips, advice and training program, and wings is not being helpful at all for is own situation. On the flip-side this the first hour (I'm at 1:03:32) of the episode is a complete fucking joke, this behind the scenes stuff they're talking about, this is not something that should be aired for everyone to see and to digest, this is a podcast and too huge of a part of it is being covered with arguments about jordies confidence issues. Now to your original comment, woody is not helping, it doesn't matter that he is right and jordie is wrong, woody is taunting wings and pointing out everything he is doing wrong, he is being very douchy in this episode, as a friend the best he can do is help jordie be more confident about his and not spending this much time concentrating on negatives. As a whole what went on in the first hour was not good, it was not helpful, they were ganging up on him and it won't have a positive effect on the guy, the most important thing in jordies is situation is support from people around him, I wouldn't have the mental strength to go the gym 4 times a week if I didn't have a friend to go there with me, I've tried a dozen times before and now I'm finally on a rhythm because I have a mate supporting me. I have to say one more thing to wings, seriously learn to cook, there very easy healthy meals you can cook that only take 10 minutes and they're not complicated at all.

I 100% believe that this was an episode where a guy's friends were basically trying to change his outlook on shit he's been dealing with in his life and get him to continue pushing towards solving them. But I'm having a tough time deciding whether the approach was misguided. For me personally, it has always worked for me for my parents to knock some sense into me by telling me basically the harsh truth of what I've been doing and so I just naturally tend to think that works for others. Honestly I think it's different for Wings because he's at a point (from what I can tell) that no amount of showing him the truth about what he's doing wrong will really make him want to change because he simply doesn't care about himself enough to give a fuck. I think for this particular situation, it really was destructive rather than constructive criticism and that really, the only constructive thing that came out of this was the suggestion for him to get some professional help (fucking love Lefty). I understand all this frustration at Wings from his PKA friends and in the comments section especially if you've invested time and money into this bootcamp but I think what's basically been ignored whenever Wings has tried to solve his personal demons/problems is the underlying issue which is his mental state. Wings can clearly do the physical aspect of the bootcamp and I'm sure he could do the 3,5,7 or over 9000 meals a day if needed but it seems like he's dealing with so many mental health issues that he constantly hits that mental block. Whether it's depression, unresolved childhood issues, trauma or whatever the fuck it may be, it makes his put up this mental barrier and then he's done and there's nothing anybody can say to change that. The only real solution is to get him some professional help with the leftover money in the "help wings" fund because that's really what's gonna help wings.

Kyle is almost as much to blame. By putting wings in massive caloric deficits (wrong way to lose weight) wings levels blood sugar are extremely low. Those same blood sugar levels are highly linked to motivation. With virtually zero energy, wings has no motivation to keep going because he is being malnourished. Find someone who actually knows the weight-loss process and you'll be better off wings.
