Them or EWU...EWU has some major issues though. They did a video on a guy I was friends with that killed two of my other Friends and the parents of one of the girls. They got so many things wrong, they didn't even get his name right. Richard Aiden Samuel McCroskey. He went by Sam, even used "Syko Sam" for his Horrorcore name. They spent the whole video calling him Richard. Got a lot of details wrong. The real story of how it happened and why is out there, but instead they went with more "sensationalism" theories.

Something not mentioned is a death bed confession/ statement holds more weight than a normal one. It alone can serve as probable cause or reasonable suspicion of a crime and could be the the missing piece that allows the police to search and or detain

The true crime documentaries may be viewed mostly by women, but so are JCS videos from what I've heard. And JCS videos have no real editing so it's just another multiple hour long KZbin doc series (much like the Chris Chan docuseries) that expects you to not have a real life. Sure most people can find the time to watch a four hour uncut video in bits and pieces, but idk I just think it's way too longform for a normal person. I can't imagine that you could have a relationship with someone and binge those videos, even though I know it's completely possible
