They sound exactly like my ex-fiance's parents. Over 9 years they were evicted three times and they always came to me to bail them out because I was the only one making decent money. They were constantly wrecking their cars or getting them repoed. Then the worst thing possible could happen they inherited almost a million dollars after a relative died. They basically immediately spent it all within a year on house new cars and 80-in TVs. Within 3 months both cars had been totaled and they were 3 months behind on their mortgage but still spending like there's no tomorrow.

When people bring bills to you to pay it's because they know you care enough to not let their power get turned off or their car get repossessed but they also know you wouldn't just go give them drug money....so they spend THEIR money on drugs and then bring their bills to that way they can pretend they're just "down on their luck" while they live for free and spend all their money on drugs. I know this very very well. I used to do it to people. I learned it by watching my mom do it to people. I broke that cycle though and it really hurts seeing other people get hurt this way because not only do I hate seeing people get hurt like this (especially this guy....I kinda cried a little for him lol) but it reminds me of what I've done to people. This sort of manipulation is the worst. Please don't let people use you this way.
