Any plastic has same limitations when it comes to durability and recycling. We are affected by it directly through leaching of chemicals in food, when the tififn gets discarded, it returns to us in form of microplastic. Though chemical leaching in dry food is negligible, what happens later when the plastic tiffin goes to the dump yard? that pollution is landing in our kid's food plate anyway. Why not use the material which is not harmful to health at all?

I suggest try a good quality steel tiffin. Now a days, steel tiffins are of good design and quality, the lid fits tight, there is no leakage. I have been using steel tiffin for my family. Did not have issue with leakage. I will share a short video about it soon.
