Place du Marché Saint-Honoré, Paris, France

A six-minute visit to the place du Marché Saint-Honoré. Four hundred years ago it was a convent. Two hundred years ago it was an open food market. Sixty years ago it was turned into a parking garage. Now it's a modern office and shopping building, hidden among much older buildings near the heart of Paris.

The only access to the area is via little streets, which means that the building is extremely well hidden even from nearby areas. You practically have to bump into it to see it. The architecture isn't too bad, but I wish they had built something that fit in better with the architecture of the surrounding buildings. Thanks for the compliment!

It has ladies clothes from young French and Italian designers and is run by a French guy called George . J'ai grandi rue du marché saint-Honoré, du temps où la place était occupée par un horrible parking vert avec une caserne de pompiers et un commissariat. C'est bien plus beau aujourd'hui ! Il s'y tient un petit marché deux fois par semaine et aussi un vide-grenier occasionnellement.
