I was kinda homophobic... But have loved Placebo from day 1. When i found out the the bassist was gay and the vocalist was Bi. I soon realized how immature and inconsiderate i was by judging people from what i seen and heard on the outside. Placebo have opened my eyes to the world :)

I love this, though it pangs a little bit. When I was growing up and having miserable moments/days, and I felt completely alone, I would often try to find whatever secluded, pretty natural areas around my city I could to sit in, to feel safe, because I knew the trees, the sunlight, the flowers, they wouldn't ask anything of me. They wouldn't judge me, or overlook me, or hurt my feelings. It was really comforting to just relax and take in nature, even if it was just a secluded little courtyard on campus, or a bench across from a big tree, sometimes that's all you get if you live in a city. I think there were a lot of times where that helped me get through, I would 'go and write a song from my heart' sometimes in places like that too. Placebo, you guys are fucking awesome.
