Nice tone. Is the Sansamp responsible to simulate an head cab into Pro Tool or did you add that later in production?
@JustPlayingBass Жыл бұрын
Thanks Danilo. Yeah, that's correct, used before pro tools. Thanks for watching.

That Nate Mendel P sounds amazing. How’s the neck? What are you using for the distortion that’s on this track? If that’s the natural tone of the pickups in the bass I’m SOLD!
@JustPlayingBass5 жыл бұрын
The neck is a nice medium between a p and a jazz. The pickup is a Duncan quarterpounder. It has a nice natural growl to it. I used a sansamp bass driver to dirty it up a bit. The Nate is a fab bass in my humble opinion.

Just Playing Bass Thanks for the info. I love the simplicity of a passive P bass. I’m getting the new Tech21 GEDYYZ pedal once it’s officially available which should finally be within a month. I currently use an MXR bass d.i. + pedal that I really like.

Awesome tone, can I ask you how did you get it right? I mean, settings on everything, This is the best cover I've seen so far and the tone is perfect,
@JustPlayingBass4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for the comment. The sound is dialed in on the sansamp, as close as I can to the original. I'm not very skillful with eq and compression that's within pro tools, so the main sound comes from the sansamp. Thanks again for the comment.
