Lol! I went thru a faze where I would go around to every bed in the house including couches because I could not sleep. So...I put THIS song on repeat many different times. I did with a lot of Placebo songs. I am addicted to Breathe Easy by Jay Aston "Gene loves Jezebel". Now that would be my dream concert: Placebo, Jay's Gene loves Jezebel and Hope Sandoval !

This song is so beautiful. "Her electronic haze" sounds magical. Not sure what it is supposed to mean, but it sounds exactly like how you see the world when you live with Visual snow syndrome. It's the most precise and the most poetic description of this condition for me.

Plscebo were the house band of my conscious, a guitar led band of motley characters that were not "safe" or "boring".... A European mash of glam, androgynous narco-rock, bohemian chic and questioning intellect..... A fresh storm against the knuckle dragging, illiterate , laddish posturing of Liam & Noel " let's 'ave it" Gallagher.....

This is probably the best representation of how my gender dysphoria feels on an internal daily basis. I've been fighting with society and my self view/identity since I was twelve. When I was growing up non binary wasn't a talked about subject and sexuality and gender were inseparable. So I ended up developing a lot of negative coping mechanisms to deal with that level of isolation and misunderstanding. Placebo has always been a safe place for that side of myself and I'll always love them for that.
