I'm a Marisa main and since Bigbird dropped her he's one of the few players that get some attention in replays YT channels so I watch his games for Marisa inspiration. ggs and keep it up, I'm rooting for your channel to grow. What do you think of the Marisa-Kim matchup?

It's even in my opinion, it just depends on who ever gets started first. Marisa walk speed hinders her but she has good buttons/dmg. Kim has good walk speed and one button, does little dmg as well. Plus both need meter for reversals so you see what I mean. I also appreciate the support

Congratulations on your win, you inspire me to keep playing. I recently got bodied by Mr. mad gear at my locals, and he plays Marrisa. I don't know if I know the match up at all, because it felt like I couldn't press any buttons, and the Marrisa's I play in ranked get bodied. If you have any tech to help please share, thanks

I think the match up is even. It may feel bad because you have to hit her more than she has to hit you. But it's a battle of whoever gets started first since both characters lack reversals. I personally rely on whiff punishing because all her buttons are slow. You "can" also use fw.hk because her st.lp is slow and OD teleport for the same reason. She's one of the few characters that Kim's kit works on. Just at the risk of losing 50% lol. Appreciate the kind words too!! Hope this helps

She got really good rushdown and kim doesnt have a lot of good defensive options outside of thing everyone has

Her kit completely destroys Kim's way of getting in. Elbow drop rarely works, her neutral isn't as good, then fire ball pressure in general keeps her at bay. So yeah probably one of her worst match ups
