I'm not sure that Taskmaster's absence necessarily means that she's dead. In fact, I think it's way more likely that she's the only one who's in on Val's plan from the start. I mean, think about it: if the plan was to send them all to that red room to kill each other, you definitely want someone in there that can finish the job in case someone manages to escape, or just to report the outcome of the mission. I think that Taskmaster goes in the room with them, but then once they figure out the plan, she sneaks out to warn Val that they might go after her, so that she can prepare.

Cool idea! Okay, I'd be down for that. I do suspect that at a minimum we don't see Taskmaster standing with them in that scene in Val's HQ and that Marvel CGI-ed her in there to fool us. If your theory is right (and it makes alot of sense, I might add), then it seems Taskmaster won't rejoin them as I suspect the team wouldn't trust her at that point.

@@AbitofEverything4U I'm not so sure about that either. I thought about this whole thing a bit more and I think it's very strange that Val sent them right where the Sentry is. If she truly just wanted to get rid of them, why didn't she just send someone to kill them individually? Why did she want them to be all together at exactly that location? My best guess is that she wanted to kill two birds with one stone: by sending them all to where the Sentry is, she can get rid of them and at the same time "test" her new weapon against someone that she believes is replaceable. But then for some reason her plan fails and she is forced to turn the table. Because we know that they do end up teaming up with her at some point, despite the fact that she just tried to kill them. Why would they do that? My theory is that at some point the Sentry will go rogue and their mission will be to stop him and bring him back in for more testing/experimentation (which would explain why in the trailer they seem to be storming the tower), and Taskmaster will join them as well. But yes, I do believe that there will be some level of distrust between them and Taskmaster, at least at the start of their mission.

It seems like they saw all the “Bucky got nerfed” comments and said let’s give the fans what they want. He looks great in this. Also, Yelena returning to NYC in this movie gives me hope that she’ll reference Kate at some point, I don’t think we’d see her but maybe a little hint that she and Yelena have been keeping in touch. One note - the scene where Bucky drives the truck into the Avengers Tower and they all engage the military happens probably BEFORE they get into the elevator and confront Valentina and later Sentry. Then they have a struggle outside where Bucky flips the incoming van. Note that he does not wear his jacket in the scenes on the street.

Even with this trailer I would be surprised if Taskmaster is the one to die (honestly i'd be surprised if any of the main characters die) since it would feel a bit too predictable with her being the most least liked character on the roster... i would much rather the MCU try to improve upon her like they did Thor or Captain America... i mean the suit already looks dope and her powerset is awesome....loved this trailer though... I'm wondering if it's a sort of reverse psychology thing with Taskmaster, like they edit the trailer to make us think she's dead, but it could be that she just disappears and shows up later at Avengers tower or whatever. She's a Black Widow first and foremost, and has been shown to have replicated Yelena and Natashas abilities, so she could very easily have stealthed her way out of the room before the alarms went off, or potentially have a secret secondary mission that we don't know about yet and had a secret backdoor exit or whatever. I don't think Sentry himself is who they end up fighting, I think they do what the comics do and bring in Sentry's dark half, the Void, and that's who they end up fighting. Yelena asking if all they do is just punch and shoot can also be Marvel poking a bit of fun at themselves, like sort of predicting audience reaction to the team who are just a bunch of people who essentially do only punch and shoot. Val also not knowing who Red Guardian is can also be a joke because in Black Widow Alexei was talking himself up to seem more important and well known than he was. Also seems like we'll be getting a Mean Girls "stop trying to make fetch happen, it's not going to happen" sort of moment with the Thunderbolts name. Whatever the case, I feel like this movie is prime for an R rating, and with Deadpool & Wolverine being hugely successful and breaking all sorts of records and everything, it would make sense that Marvel wants to make more R-rated content.

@ItsJae_37 from looking at your channel it doesn't appear as though you work for Marvel or know people who work for Marvel, so saying that it won't be R-rated like you know for 100% undeniably absolute certain about it doesn't exactly work like you think it does. It's also clear that you aren't familiar with American movie ratings by suggesting a PG-14 which isn't a thing. I'm well aware of why Deadpool and Wolverine got an R-rating, and I also wasn't suggesting that an R-rating makes every movie successful, nor am I sure where you got the idea I was saying that. What I was getting at is that this movie would work well with an R-rating, a movie focused on antagonists and characters with dark and murderous pasts and stuff like that is prime for an R-rating, which is why people are comparing this movie to the Suicide Squad movies over at DC, the one that is seen as better and more well liked has an R-rating. Also, I wasn't suggesting that everything Marvel is making needs to be R-rated or anything like that, what I was getting at there is that Marvel had massive success with an R-rated movie and it broke all kinds of records and everything, so it would make sense that Marvel would want to do more R-rated content in addition to their PG-13 content. the only things coming up from Marvel that I think would benefit from being R-rated are Thunderbolts, Blade, Marvel Zombies, and Daredevil: Born Again, everything else would be perfectly fine being PG-13 and don't need to be/shouldn't be R-rated, and as far as I know Marvel has already confirmed that Marvel Zombies, Blade, and Daredevil: Born Again will be R-rated. There might be a show or movie or something I'm forgetting, but I don't think there is.

Very nice video, I have some extra thoughts: 2:37 I think this would rather happen during the escape from this desert vualt 3:24 US Agent and Yelena both staying next to Ghost, and Ghost has a Taskmasters bow, I believe this wolud be a part of this big escape as well 10:45 Ghost is in this frame just after opening the door so that they can all escape 16:56 This truck is different from the milk truck that Red Guardian and Bucky were driving, very interesting who will drive it in the movie 19:05 look at the crowd staying calm around them, maybe they are going to save many people there and do some good

This movie looks awesome. February and May can't come soon enough. Brave New World and Thunderbolts, despite likely being about very different things feel like sibling pictures, they'll pair up well. Also, I know it's just a trailer thing, but I love the use of the fonts in both Brave New World and Thunderbolts*, and their willingness to kind of play with the Marvel Studios logo. The big door lifting up in the first Tunderbolts* trailer with the logo following it and now the elevator doors opening and splitting the logo down the middle is just a neat visual to me. Even the latest What If...? trailer shows the Marvel Animation logo in a number of different colors and I'd love to see stuff like that in the future. Warner Bros., 20th Century Fox, sometimes Paramount and Universal, they've let movies play with the studio logos in the past, I'd love to see Marvel allow that to happen. We gotten it a little in the movies and shows, but I'd love to see a new one for each project that stylistically fits the tone of the story.

Those are all some interesting points you put up. If they are going to kill off Taskmaster, I hope they at least give her some closure, since we haven’t seen her in years (decades in universe). I am also excited to see the conversations that will play out between the members of this new team. It is part of what made The Avengers great and it seems to be part of what will make this film great as well.

8:05 Sentry wasn't actually created like a lab experiment in the comics he's a druggie who was looking for his next fix and found the golden sentry serum which was a strand of the super soldier serum. He's not as much a created superhero as like a Captain America or Adam Warlock tbh.

Could you please do a theory video like you did with Captain America Brave New World, when you placed it in February of 2025 and also place Thunderbolts* in 2025? I think 2025 lines up with both films pretty well. There is a plot leak for Captain America Brave New World, that says Thaddeus Ross arrested and sent to the Raft as a prisoner, because of him Hulking out during the climax of the film, that means by the end of Captain America Brave New World, they would need to elect a new president anyway, so why not make it where Ritson was the Vice President, while Ross was in office, theen after Ross is sent to the Raft, Ritson would take over and continue on as the president from 2025 until 2028. Also this could line up with Thunderbolts* because maybe nobody on the team wants to use the team name Thunderbolts, because of what happened at the end of Captain America Brave New World, also the team is operating out of the old Avengers Tower, that is why they might actually choose the name Dark Avengers. Also the Captain America Brave New World plot leak says Bucky shows up and helps Sam Wilson out, then says that he is going to leave and go to a charity event that some one is hosting, which lines up with Thunderbolts*. Also I looked up when Cherry Trees blossom in Washington D.C. and it says that they blossom the last week of March and the first week of April. I know during The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and the Black Widow post credits scene Val has an indigo streak in her hair, then during Thunderbolts* she has a white streak in her hair, then in Black Panther Wakanda Forever she has a purple streak in her hair, but maybe the reason for the white streak in her hair, during Thunderbolts* is because of the charity event that she is hosting, and also for the teams first public debut, so that she looks good in the spotlight. Also the reason Val is wanting Vibranium during Black Panther Wakanda Forever, is because the events of Captain America Brave New World did not go the Way Thaddeus Ross hoped. Also the arm that Bucky has, could actually be a gift from Sam Wilson, and is maybe built out of Adimantium. Everything just fits so well, then that means we don't have to worry about Captain America Brave New World and Thunderbolts* happening in 2027 or even 2029, because no one knows yet what the Presidential Election cycle looks like. I doubt that Captain America Brave New World would be in 2027, based on what Nick Fury said, "That is some one term president stuff" kind of implies that Ritson hasn't ended his term, and still has until 2028 until he is re elected. Also Secret Invasion happens around Unity Day which takes place on November 4, 2026 and the Presidential Election takes place on November 3, 2026 which is the day when Secret Invasion started. G'iah even said "The attack is planned for tomorrow... Unity Day." That doesn't work with because Ross becoming president. 2029 does work the best for both Captain America Brave New World and Thunderbolts* which are happening concurrently. That means Ironheart and Wonder Man are the only two projects that take the 2027 spots in the Timeline. Keep up the good work!

I'd be a huge letdown if they introduce a character as powerful as Sentry just to kill him off. And by the Thunderbolts, of all people. Nah, I think he's safe, at least for now haha!

This trailer was great, i'm so excited for this movie and team it's going to be so much fun. The character interaction in this movie already looks very good and regarding Taskmaster i don't think she dies early on i have a feeling she is on a mission that is very important to the plot that they can't show in the trailers to avoid spoilers like Gamora in Infinity War we didn't see her too much in the trailers because she as connected to the soul stone the only stone we didn't know anything about before hand so i think a similar case is being used with Taskmaster.

@@AbitofEverything4U Totally agree, you know I thought of a cool alternate universe idea where Thanos kills Drax's family directly and when drax tries to stop him Thanos beats him down and leaves him near death but then after leaving Thanos's father and grandfather gives Drax a potion like in the 2021 guardians game that gives him strength equal to Thanos and the ability to sense where he is but a weird side affect is turning his skin green and is giving the task of stopping Thanos no matter what. I can imagine some other things in this universe like Quill and Mantis have some of their father genes giving them powers they have in the comics, Nebula not having her robot parts and looking more like her classic comic self,the Nova corps being more like their comic self,Groot speaking full sentences and thinking he was a prince of his planet when in reality his people thought he was too kind and let him think he was royalty to get him off the planet hoping he would never come back or die,Rocket,his alive friends and the other HE experiments revolting against him, sending him away to die in space and finding a new planet to call their own and finally living however they want but unknowingly HE did die in space in a ship due to wounds and no food or water but went into a wormhole leading to earth where he lands in front of a scientist named herbert wyndham who takes his name and upgrades his armor to start his new base mount wundagore with his first experiments being a female cow and a pregnant woman with the last name Maximoff. So what do you think? Lots of comics stuff in this one and sorry if it's a little long.

Interestingly, based on where the timeline book placed that final episode of FATWS, it was right after Peter was outed as being Spider-Man, so he was very busy dealing with the fallout of that situation, as it turns out.

Some point after they were brought to Europe, they started becoming popular as lab animals over rabbits. Later on white mice and rats were bred specifically for use in labs. Gerbils and hamsters were bred specifically as pets.

Been watching every video, and noted a small thing here, Val mentions the battles that took place in Avengers Tower that she now owns, she describes it as multiple battles over many years, as if that’s what the tower is known for when we’ve only really seen 2 battles at avengers tower one being the Battle of New York and the other being the small battle with Ultron Mark 1 after their party in Age of Ultron, maybe their hinting at other adventures the OG 6 went on and maybe fought some characters we’ve yet to see in maybe a prequel story of some sorts. Just a thought!

Wait what do you mean by "phase 0 interview"? Oh ... you don't mean phase as in Marvel phase. But yeah one of my favourite elements for this movie is absolutely Yelena and Re Guardian. The Sentry is probably the thing I'm most curious about because I know NOTHING about him beyond him being on Norman's Dark Avengers. And Ghost too! I'm glad these movies from Marvel are finally addressing a lot of unresolved characters or plots. I really hope Taskmaster isn't dead, the character needs to be redeemed (metaphorically) after Black Widow. Something I've also just realized ... U.S. Agent's shield ... what do we think it's made of? Adamantium maybe? The lights thing could also just be a change in light colour so I hope you're wrong about Taskmaster's fate. There is also the fact trailers tend to be deceptive, I still won't forgive Marvel for the fake Hulk shot in Infinity War lol. The bar is also from Age of Ultron too. I think I haven't seen some of these scenes before so your breakdowns are always great.

Third act guess that appears popular as other comments have said it: the Void. Im also guessing its Thunderbolts* with an asterisk because theyll either rename themselves the Avengers, West Coast Avengers, or the Dark Avengers.maybe even Hidden Avengers. Im not confident in any of them. Avengers seems weird to give this group. West Coast seems off as it doesnt fit the vibe and theyre not on the west coast. Dark Avengers kinda fits but i dont k ow why theyd call themselves that. Hidden Avengers might work but even if it wasnt said outloud that was Steve's avengers in Civil War. ... so none really fit. Even Thunderbolts is off as its based off of the president's name and he doesnt appear to have a place in the movie. Maybe the asterisk is there because they keep changing the name like every 10 minutes.

Great video, honestly I think your spot on with most of this, I think unfortunately taskmaster is going to die. While I wasn’t a huge fan of taskmaster in black widow I wish they put more effort into making her better. But there was one thing I didn’t agree with, the part of the watchtower that you point out saying that we haven’t seen that before, I gotta disagree there. To me that looks like it’s very likely to be the helipad of avengers tower. I don’t think that’s the top of the watchtower. Great video, this movie looks awesome and I’m really looking forward to sentry and what they do with these characters. Still curious to see what the asterisk means though.
