Pravus, after going through the scenario creator myself: I found that it would be possible (and easy) to change the populations of every country and change the ape populations of every country. From there, you could make it so the populations are equal to the total population of humans in a country. Perhaps that would be weird because not every woman can become a succubus?

I'm a firm believer in a smaller, decentralized government and I'm wary of expanding government power, even with the good intentions of improving the country. The constitutional checks and balances exist for a reason. That said, I'd start with some administrative basics. I'd balance the budget and establish a long-term plan to pay off the national debt while simultaneously making it difficult for Congress to continue increasing the debt ceiling as soon as I left office. I'd also push for comprehensive tax reform that cuts loopholes, deductions, and subsidies while also lowering the overall tax rate across the board to make us more competitive globally. I'd restructure America's welfare programs significantly, not only to save money, but to create a system that encourages people to get on their feet and become self-reliant, rather than get trapped in a cycle of welfare and poverty for most of their lives. Education would get decentralized away from the federal government and given back to the states so they can respond to the needs of their local communities. I'd strengthen America's defensive capabilities and pursue as many international free trade agreements as possible to increase our sphere of influence in the global markets. Those are some of the more sweeping changes. I'd also probably push for term limits on senators and representatives, nominate strict constitutionalists for the Supreme Court, and I have a couple of ideas for healthcare reform that I'm still researching. Most of the other problems in America can't be solved by government, however, and require cultural shifts and personal responsibility for each American. As president I can try to lead by example, but the individual choices of Americans will determine how well that takes root.
