thanks for posting. as a native Coloradan I have been so near to being able to visit these amazing wolves, yet so far considering I'm bedbound. I really appreciate how KZbin and people on KZbin are able to share even a portion of the experiences that are shut off to me, via videos like this. Thank you! ♡

Only 60 lbs wow, looks so much bigger than that. Guess their fur just makes them look a lot bigger than they are.

Hi! We're a digital travel magazine and we're working on a video about the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. We came across your great footage and would love to feature it in our upcoming video. We'd give you on-screen credit, of course. If we can feature it, please let us know. Thanks!

Thanks for visiting. Yes, you are welcome to use this or my other video on the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center in your travel magazine. Let me know when you publish that issue, because I'd love to check it out.

Steadfast Compassion Colorado, I Lisa Olson's daughter Jasmine Olson love the wolves enough to say why not introduce a few of the best new chapter books about their packs on video??Song of the SUMMER KINNG by Jesse Owen, Beyond the Valley of Thorns by Patrick Carman, and the fiction chapter book titled Spellfall by Katherine Roberts are the three I'd choose to take a chance with. Wish you luck! Thank you for the Entertainments.

Which tour did you do?
@PlainsPup5 жыл бұрын
We did their Standard Tour, which lasts about an hour, and lets you see all the canids and experience a group howl at the end. As you can see, this was during winter, so it was snowy and cold for us, but the wolves and other canids loved it and were really out and about.
@StickyWolf5 жыл бұрын
I’m wanting to go this winter (like in the next 2 weeks) I really hope I can go and I’m extremely excited :) I want to be a Photographer for National Geographic when I grow up and make documentaries about Wolves :) looks like you guys had tons of fun 😄
@PlainsPup5 жыл бұрын
@@StickyWolf Definitely go. I've been to several sanctuaries, and this is one of the better ones I've seen. I think you'll really get a lot out of it, and it will be a very memorable trip. Enjoy!

The hosts tell you how awful fur is while wearing leather....please tell me what the difference is?
@PlainsPup2 жыл бұрын
Herbivores are necessarily an order of magnitude more abundant than carnivores. Hunting carnivores for fur brings their populations dangerously low, and steel jaw traps are very painful and cruel. In contrast, hunting wild herbivores or rearing domestic ones for meat and other products (like leather) can be done sustainably, and they can be dispatched quickly. In addition, because we now have other materials, we do not require fur from carnivorans to keep warm anymore. However, predatory animals like humans and wolves (wild and domestic, i.e. dogs) still need meat for sustenance, and we get that from herbivores; leather is part of that system. Finally, we have intimate relationships with dogs and cats, so it is easy to see how their relatives (other carnivorans like wolves, bears, raccoons, bears, etc.) suffer when persecuted. Herbivores like cattle or deer, on the other hand, are not part of our social network, and so it is more acceptable to use them as a resource, provided they are dispatched as humanely as possible.

They don't handle well on a leash. They are not like house dogs

She probably needs to weigh him again.
@PlainsPup4 жыл бұрын
That could be. We were told he weighed about 70 lbs at the time, at the age of about one year old. Maybe he did under all that fur, but I suspect you're right; he probably weighed quite a bit more.

GRR Adappt to it WE NEED OURSELVES WE NEED EACH OTHER THE STRENGTH TO BE ONE ANOTHER, PLUS WE ALL PART OF THE GRAND DESIGN AND THEN THE ECOSYSTEM. I definitely hate the stuff IDAHO does!!!!!!! You're lacking the courage to think clear, and you misunderstand the wolves so it's your own fault your hasn't hasn't left you!!!!! I like the wolves more than ANGELS Leota I Lisa Olson's daughter Jasmine Olson have autism and epilepsy however I function and have STEADFAST COMPASSION!!!!!!!! HEART, SOUL, FACE THE WOLVES ARE READ INCORRECTLY BY THEIR FOES ALLL 3 WAYS!! I understand their true spirit enough that they give me guidance as I visualize them. Gain confidence, and Gain self-discipline!! BALANCE ON EARTH IS VITAL!!!!!!
