To be true I like the more minimal style you have going on there better! Seeing that simple can also be pretty is inspiring me a lot more to keep up with my own journal even when I don't have enough time or patience to create something artsy. Thanks for sharing!

Hopefully I’m not stepping out of my lane, but I wanted to share something... I struggled with fertility for almost 4 years. I started Keto and three months later had a positive pregnancy test. I was in shock and denial, but I now have a 4 month old son. I recommended it to another KZbinr last year and she just had her baby :) I’m sure it doesn’t work for everyone, but I couldn’t NOT share. Best of luck 😍

I just finished a 30 day experiment with keto last Friday and was amazed with how easy it is (after the first 2 days or so, anyway). Also dropped about 6 kg which was a surprise. Definitely going to start another round soon.

I'm a night owl but also need my 8 hours of sleep, so I do the same as you do: go to bed at 10pm and wake up at 6am. The only downside is that I'm awake at 6 or 7am on weekends even if I go to bed later on fridays and saturdays. My husband and I decided to do at least a alcohol free week per month and also not drinking whisky (which started to enjoy a couple of months ago, we drink 2cl each in one sitting) two days in a row. We never drank much alcohol (once or twice a week and only with dinner) but I think it is still a good idea to be mindful.

I’m so busy cleaning rentals that I don’t have time to eat lunch so I guess you could say I’m fasting. Eating breakfast makes me sick too. And I notice doing this make me feel better and more energy. If I am hungry around lunch I’ll stop at a quick store for protein like nuts and I’m good for the day

Isabelle Poynter doesn’t sound like it will do you good in the long-run. Our body needs some fat to properly do its job. JMO

I also have PCOS. There is a woman named Kym Campbell who has a diet specifically for women with PCOS, and she has a 30 day challenge where she emails meal plans, shopping lists, and recipes. I think even supplement and vitamin recommendations. The next start date is Aug. 26th so I will be checking that out. Just a heads up it is sugar-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free (something to do with anti-inflammatory I believe). The 30 day challenge is free but the (optional) supplementary reading and the 10-week challenge have costs to them. There are a lot of good reviews on the FB group from women who have done the challenge and changed their diets and improved their bloodwork, lost weight, and had healthy pregnancies. I'm excited and nervous to start in August, I am hoping to have my first baby. I am 32 in a couple days and the baby fever is killing me lol

GADZOOKS! I also struggle with PCOS and started intermittent fasting last month. I'm still struggling with keeping the kitchen closed at 7:00 sharp, but it's gradually getting easier. It's nice to know I'm not alone :)

Ms. Kara, I too have dealt with PCOS and was wondering if you were aware that it is an insulin resistance issue?

Hi Jennifer! Yes, the insulin resistance aspect is why my doctors recommended intermittent fasting :)

IF is healthy for you, but you certainly jumped in on the deep end going OMAD right at the start. Most people start 16/8 and work up to the warrior level of 20/4. I wish you the best with it and hope that it allows your body to heal. I've tried to track my IF the way you do here, but I found writing all the numbers to be tedious. If you can think of a better way to track IF, I'd be happy to see it. Thanks for the video. :)

Fellow PCOS sufferer here! Please please please find yourself an endocrinologist. Even better if you can find a reproductive endocrinologist. OBs don’t typically have enough insight about PCOS as it is an endocrine disorder. Someone also gave me this advice and between my endocrinologist and Keto my PCOS symptoms are now mostly gone.
