The first video was not an usual go-around. I think they had reactive wind shear so they just applied the memory items. That’s why they are not in a rush to change the configuration and they pull up so hard in the first few seconds. They just pulled up so hard respecting the Flight Directors which most probably were indicating them to pitch up in order to get rid of the wind shear and to avoid over speeding the flaps. Airbus is fully protected in normal situations so you can’t stall it even if you keep pulling the side stick.
@alexmoreland7938

0:53: I've heard of a number of similar nosegear damages over the past 50 years and cannot understand why they try to pull forwards - it's essentially like plowing a field. I would not pay for this stupid mistake if I owned the insurance company. You don't need a "pull", you need a "lift/slide"; a crane with two wide belts, tilted forward to move the aircraft under load so as to limit stress to the fuselage/wings.

Hi guys, quick question: How often do the tires on the big commercial planes get changed out? Thanks in advance.
@TopoftheStackAirTrafficSafety
@TopoftheStackAirTrafficSafety 7 күн бұрын
The frequency of tire changes on commercial planes depends on several factors, like the number of landings, the weight of the aircraft, and the condition of the runways. There’s no set number because each flight and tire condition can vary. Regular inspections are key, and tires are replaced when needed, based on wear or damage, rather than a fixed schedule.

You can also check to make sure that the "Always show captions" is not on in the settings of KZbin. Some videos are set to automatically translate a video for a specific language and in this case just click on the CC sign. As for double subtitles. The only thing I can think of is some extension that you have in your browser or a different 3rd party subtitle app. Windows 11 has a live caption option that can be turned on/off from the accessibility option in Windows settings (version 22H2 or higher).

"she gots the power" (go around/windsheer escape) notice that before the plane pitched up you can see the heat start to pour out of the engines a second or so before so probably the crew was on top of the airspeed and angle of attack and didn't pull up until they had the power and airspeed to support high climb rate I guess they could have been letting the advanced Airbus flybywire systems look at the angle of attack and engine performance parameters and choose the pitch for maximum climb rate

They likely had a windshear alert, since this shows all the signs of a windshear escape maneuver. The fly by wire doesn’t know the engine parameters.
