April 24, 1997: the US Air Force is holding a massive air show at Nellis AFB, Nevada for its 50th Anniversary. Everything the US Air Force owns at the time is on display and/or flying, in addition to some of the very best air demonstration teams in the world at the time (Great Britain, Italy, Brazil, Japan, the US Navy’s Blue Angels and of course the Thunderbirds.) At the time I was stationed at Nellis, so I had a front row view of the entire operation. A C-17 is doing its demonstration, and they land, roll down the length of the runway, stop, then start backing up using the thrust reversers. Being the jokester I have always been, I started beeping...an 80-year old WWII veteran turns to his wife and says “see! I told you it had to have a backup alarm!”

Deswegen bekamst du wohl so viele U.S. Air Force Flugzeuge zu sehen.
@FRAproductions3 жыл бұрын
