Thanks for the video; I was using this to check some rules questions and happen to catch some discrepancies between this and my rulebook. The video says gain one courage per minion killed, the book says per demon, which wouldn't include the larva per the rulebook's glossary. And rulebook also says to treat everything under shadow as one space, so invasion tokens move together all at once and move as a group out of the shadow area, which is a little different than the video.

18:00 Why can't you kill both larvae? You have 4 & 1. Is a "player" a human playing the game or an in game character?

Because you have to exceed the defense from 1, so a 1 is Not enough

@@MeepleUniversity Loving the game! Even though I'm not sure how to defeat lords with multiple crowns yet :D Maybe it was an oversight on Sandy's part, since he has a lot of rules to keep track of with the amount of games he develops...on p.39 of the updated rulebook (same as the original) it says: "When a hero’s health reaches 0, they die. Follow these steps: 1. Increase the doom track by 2. 2. Discard all that hero's gifts and courage. 3. Choose a new hero to enter play in the next recruit segment.". The rules then talk about how to gain courage when enemies die. Further down on the same page we can find the rules for joining an already ongoing game: "If a player wants to join a game after it has begun, go through the following steps: The new player starts play in the next recruit segment. The new hero starts with courage equal to the number of despair dice.". So, as I understand, courage should only be gained when joining mid-game. What do you think?

@@Seeemion I think if the lords are too easy, that would be less challenging and less fun? Lol. Yeah that's a tricky rule that one. I think this might be one of our questions too originally, and I think, it was referred to page 31 about getting courage equal to the number of despair dice, after loosing all those things first (gifts & courage)?
