Sounds like going first in a round can get you extra turns in a 4-player game, as well as getting first choice. So they should have made one of the spaces where you could spend crystals to be first.

All players get the same amount of turns every round. Additionally, thanks to the of number of turns in the round, every player is the starting player once in the longer turns. 1st round starting players: A morning, B first half of day, C noon, D 2nd half the day, A evening. That way, in the 1st half of the day, B and C get two turns, and in the 2nd half of day A and D get two turns. Second round starting players: B morning, C first half of day, D noon, A 2nd half the day, B evening. -> every player gets first choice once in a half day. Also, after playing the game: starting isn't necessarily a bonus, you can easily get punished by other players following with some actions.

I just saw this game at a shop down the road. It looks cool. Great video again T. Hello S. The parallels between this game and my work for D#*@x are uncanny. The workers don’t have names. The beurocrats want you working deep into the night, nobody cares where the workers are placed despite their abilities and when you’re there, it feels like you’re on a whole different planet. The only difference is they seem to get points for lowering your mood.

If pink only got third place points if first place was shared; then shouldn't they add first and second place and split it between blue and brown? So they each get 3? That is what most typical score systems that share VPs do.

Why does it feel like someone needs to be suckered into adding a second cube into the storage, so the next player can add the third cube with crystals and grab the points?

Hi Nydaloth, thanks for watching. Art may has the feel of Scythe (so yes feel like Scythe-ish), but mechanics is different from Scythe :).

This game is nothing like scythe apart from resources, which evey game has, and if you squint your eyes rusviet theme here. Either way this was well explained and game is not for me. I am not really invested in workers happy. It’s not like they perform something crazy. Seems fiddlly for my liking moving cubes up and down. Hope they put recessed board. Art great. Theme falls flat.
