I imagine this whole entrance area as a hotel resort where people stay after a stunning day in the theme park. When the park is closing, most visitors leave the park and drive home. But some of them are standing behind these fancy windows and think "You drive home, but I'm lucky and I will spend the night in this fairytale hotel." The rooms are not alike. Every room is different. There are tiny, cozy rooms under the roof with dormer windows. There are bigger rooms located in the first floor of the toilet building (which sounds worse than it really is). Of course there are rooms with a balcony as well, e. g. in the comparatively “sober” house with the clocktower thing. Once you enter the playful house with the porch, you’ll realize that is the reception house where visitors are welcome to get their hotel room keys (which are ancient, playful fairytale keys). The dining room is located next to the reception house since this house is one of the biggest. The visitors benefit from a wonderful dinner and breakfast there. By the way, the most expensive room is the Presidential Suite - located above the main entrance, with a huuuuge balcony and extra features right out of a fairytale…

Here's a suggestion: add some very small nooks/alleys in between the buildings of your facade and it'll add depth. They also feel a bit crowded.

Was really waiting your first Alpha 3 video and it didnt leave me dissapointed. Marvelous work Silv! Really hope there a map expansion so you can conitnue this park in the future (or maybe you already have the map plan in your head or paper and it uses the size the games has now). I already see you put to good use the new colourable wooden planks, beams and small details, its one of my favourite set of new pieces also. Also super good news that Frontier already said most old wall sets will have color options for the final release, thats going to gives us alot more creativity.

I found this in a round about way. One of the KZbinrs who builds for The Sims 4 also does Planet Coaster and then I found others who build Planet Coaster. I loved Roller Coaster Tycoon and can't wait to play this and will preorder ASAP. I'm excited to get the game and...Love your work!!

Somehow seeing you place all the little ornaments and details one by one makes me appreciate them even more when I see the finished building in all its majesty. I won't lie my eyes teared up watching this at a few points seeing such beautiful architecture come to life, with such intricate detailing and ornamentation, and the whole thing is just beautiful beyond words, you've inspired me to get this game when it comes out just so I can try stuff like this, the potential for creating unique and beautiful themed architecture with the workshop and combining all the different elements to form new things and just the sheer amount of scenery pieces and textures and everything that they give you to work with is vast. At this point I think I want this game more for the creating beautiful scenery/architecture aspect and secondary for the theme park and rides aspect. I have to ask, are there any Ancient Greek and Roman architectural elements and scenery pieces such as Ionic, Doric, Corinthian columns and such things? It's my dream to create this fantasy Greek/Roman theme park that incorporates their architecture and style but with a Beaux Arts style twist to the design like the old Pennsylvania Station in NYC. I would spend hours doing that if the pieces are all there to make it.

+Silvarret Just for once can we get rid of those white boxes (all of them with their mandatory AC on top) which you usually use to give more realism to the park please? Just for for this time pls!!! Let's go for the fully fantasy theme here! Amazing buildings with beautiful facades only to serve as bathrooms, it's fine! We don't like to see a perfectly simulated park, but rather an imaginative set of wonderful roller coaster and castles! LIKE if you agree!

I've been considering doing that, but making this park this way was a very conscious decision. I don't just want to make a large fantasy park in a way that I'd love to see one, I'd like to make one that you could imagine as being real. At least with this sort of park I can pray that sometime in the future when I'm a billionaire I can build it :D

If you haven't before, you should have a look at the main buildings of the University of Birmingham as another source of inspiration. I think you'd be able to do something really good with that as a reference! Love the work!
