if you wait a bit more in the terraforming process there will be a vine up to that window, but the all powerful jet pack gets the job done too :) Don't forget the blue chest at the front of the ship also

Think I overlooked those golden chests at the sandstorm biome. XD Also the secret compartment in the wreck was a nice tip. I reclaim all blue chests so know they are done, along iron bonus.

I didn’t know you could fly into the cockpit of that desert wreck. Always learning!! I will go and have a look at what awaits me there. At my at my very late stage of the game, it could be anything. It will make up a bit for me losing a whole base that is now underground due to map contour changes north of the canyon. I can see it, but I can get in to get all the goodies out!!

I take it there's no problem having those T2 Algae Generators that close together? (Your T1 Algae Generators were quite far apart by comparison.) Ooh, your first Fuses! Nice! That was always a good time to explore that wreck, as all of the Rocket Engines and other stuff has spawned in. Two Atmospheric Water Collectors do compare quite well to a single Lake Water Collector. They do use a little more energy but they have the same overall capacity and are actually slightly more productive, if you can remember to collect water from both at the same time. Deconstructing those five Vegetube T3s (390 ppq/s total) would free up enough power for a T2 Flower Spreader (1950 ppq/s plus 43.5 g/s).

There is no issue having the algae generators close together. I haven't noticed any performance reduction from it. Also makes it easier for the drones later on. I prefer the lake water collectors for later in the game when you need a lot of water. I completely forgot about the vegetubes. Just been kinda walking past them and ignoring them.

You're mistaking about water collectors. Atmospheric ones will consume 73W/bottle while outputting nearly 0,0066... bottle/s and lake ones will consume 190W/bottle while outputting 0,01 bottle/s. Therefore, two atmospheric collectors leads to 0,0133... bottle/s while consuming 146W/s. They are definitely more efficient than water collectors in early game when energy is scarce. They truly need more attention due to their reduced storage but they also can be placed at immediate proximity of any settlement. I usually always setup one in all my relay stations to avoid bringing water and then set them to offer water in late game while completing my needs with lake collectors as energy is not really a problem anymore.

Yup. Its an old habit with me that started with a bug that refilled the chests. Ever since then I just never deconstruct any chests. I probably should.

I always clear out the wrecks including deconstructing the Chests, it is less painful to go back to the Outpost and clear 5 lockers i filled up from that big wreck than remembering which chest i already emptied, same for the Chests on the Map. And i save myself the disappointment opening empty chests all the time.^^

There was once a bug that caused chest to get refilled. Since then I have had the bad habit of not deconstructing.

@@surtrplays I was thinking for the uranium for your power. You can't mine it until T2 so the rocket is the easiest way to get it. I use rockets more for resources than boosts.

I am going with the flow and trying to balance progress with exploration and upgrades. It feels like the whole game balance is different than before. Not in a bad way. I definitely have not been grinding as much as I remember doing in the previous versions.

Funny you mention how it's night often in this video. I feel that the day/night cycle has become more pronounced with each update, with night being pitch black in a majority of biomes now. Funny how it always seems to cycle to night when you want to do something outside and need to see.

Yes, you don't have to. You do get resources from them if you do. You might want to deconstruct servers at some point so you can get the circuit boards before you can make them.

so the devs had a re-balance pass/move things around before release. What I'm finding now from the unlock tree is that something you want say top tier power (unlocked yesterday) but no way to use it as can't craft the crystals as don't unlock for another 170 GTI. Kind of annoying. I see why they did it but at least group together better had the same with other things. My opinion this needs further thought

I agree with what you are saying. It's kind of dumb that I have had the Rocket trading platform for some time now and I cannot build it because I can't craft the circuit boards. Same goes for the drone station I just unlocked. I know I can find circuit boards because I already have one but, it just doesn't make sense. You'd think you would have the ability to craft the parts needed before unlocking the product that needs those parts to build it. this area of the game needs some rework for sure.

@@Fredroc57 Talking of circuit boards I got the unlock the take the tool to break down the debris and get them them, however I made the chip but wasn't able to apply to my character. Have you had the same?

@@Rogerfoulger I believe that you may be confusing the chips you have on your person to improve your tools for circuit boards that are crafted to build various things. If we are talking about the chips for your tool you may not have room in your "gear" inventory and it needs to be upgraded. Is that what you are talking about?
