I think the people who film others at the gym who are likely mentally ill just don’t know what they are doing are WAY more embarrassing than the people they are filming.
@Dogue832 жыл бұрын
If you saw any of this shit in a gym you would judge these people too. You might keep it to yourself but you still belittle them in your mind. Laughing at this shit is a natural reaction and while it might be wrong to make fun of them on the internet, its ultimately harmless and far from "mentally ill".
@fatsidekick2 жыл бұрын
@@Dogue83 I didn’t say I would judge it or laugh at it… I would not film it and post it to the internet to publicly humiliate them, however.

@Dogue832 жыл бұрын
@@fatsidekick vro you just proved my point, your also judging them the only difference is that they actively voice their mockery. I honestly doubt these recordings negatively impacted the lives of these people in any significant manner, the gym is a public space and people acting like weirdos in a public space are completely open to ridicule. Like I said it may not be morally correct but its far from being "mentally ill", the people who recorded these videos made the same judgment as you, they just acted apon it, if your so against it then why are you here laughing at them?

Yeah, because they promote a judgement free zone. Which is great in theory, but this involves giving the clientele pizzas and candy and I don't know if they have instructions for the workout machines but these people clearly aren't looking at them if they're there. It's a place with dangerous machines were they tell people to do whatever you want and you'll look amazing and they put themselves in danger. They also have dumb rules in a thing called the lunk alarm. It goes off when weights at the ground's too hard or someone runs too loud cuz it oh, I don't know, promotes body-shaming? Aggressiveness? Getting fit and pushing yourself? Who knows.

The quality of the gym in terms of cleanliness, etc, is fine, even well above average. The issue is that for true gym rats, it's like a child's romper room for adults. 3/4 the area is machines, and half of those are cardio. Of the "free weights," it's only dumbells and bicep barbells up to 50 lbs. There are Smith machines, but NO Olympic bars, squat racks, press benches, or bumper plates. However, for

@@alexadame436 I use to work for one and can explain. The candy is there for diabetics, if they suddenly need sugar as a lot of exercise can be dangerous for them.
