I love it. I bought the 7" when it was released, but not many other people did and I remember it being sold off in record shops really cheap! I bought another copy and even designed my own sleeve for it.

Tony Mansfield ever were an alien on the world of music...I still remembering when I was 12, listening to "on islands" !!! It is such a constant that "Genius" is still ever unrecognized !

Fun fact about this song is the main singer isn't actually tony it's his brother Lee, really good song got them in a bit of trouble

was this released before the Warp album (which is released in march 1982), or after the album? since this project is also from 1982... such beautiful sounds here... i so miss the 80s style of synth sounds used by many bands and artists.
