Some people fault War for the Planet of the Apes for its slow pace but for me, personally; I had zero problems with it. With so many action movies that have so much overwhelming, fast-paced action scenes; it's nice to have a movie that has a slow enough pace to help build things up overtime. Plus, you can't expect that much action and intensity when dealing with dramas

After Rise & Dawn balanced things perfectly, it made it feel like it was VERY slow. I think that the cinematography is outstanding in it & Reeves did a fantastic job at carrying this story. I'm glad you like it, though! 🙌🎊

@@mediamadnessreviews I love each part of the trilogy for different reasons, personally. Rise had a great story showing the origins of the soon-to-be Ape Uprising. Dawn had great action with all the conflict going on. War had the most amount of emotional drama out of the trio, especially once Nova is introduced and Caesar is captured

@SilverScribe85 I can agree with that. Each entry is different in tone, which I can certainly appreciate. It has the same tonal approach as Nolan's Batman trilogy.
