FOUNDRY is a game where we play as a big robot (who we discover can change colour!) who has the task of building a big factory on an alien world.
However before we go any further I will very clearly point out that this video is sponsored by Paradox, which is very kind of them so thank you Paradox!
Back to our FOUNDRY adventure; at first we seem to be on a fairly routine materials gathering expedition, just seeing how viable the planet would be to gather some resources, but soon we discover that things haven't gone well and we appear to be stuck on the planet. Bother!
Initially we use a drill to gather a few basic materials and put them into our landing pod to transform them into crafting materials but fairly quickly we're able to build an automated mining operation with little drones doing the mining and a conveyor system taking the materials to smelters where our crafting materials are made!
With the help of Carl, our friendly AI, and C3-BB, a little robot buddy, we have the task of building a factory-sized planet to craft the items we need to research new things, provide emergency aid and, ultimately, survive long enough to await rescue!
