The idea of potentially having to relocate all the trees was a big no for me
@slalomsteveКүн бұрын
He can't guarantee what will happen to the trees. If the lease runs out in 50 years there's no way he can move the trees. At that point the trees could be removed and burned and the carbon offset will be nullified.

The fact that even at the end he only thought the Dragons couldn't see the potential, without reflecting on the fact that he was not able to really show them the potential, says everything. I can see how difficult it would be to work with someone like that when you can't get a straight answer from them.

I really hate when someone says they want to prove the dragons wrong, when they're not really putting down the business or idea. The main issue was with him and his preparation and answers to their questions. And at this point, how can you not know what they're going to ask?

I dont know if Peter was factoring it in, but would he not be able to sell more carbon credits the larger the tree is. Obviously I dont know by how much, but im sure Deboarh could hazard a guess.
@ProfessorOfLogic81Күн бұрын
The tree is owned by the buyer of the tree. When they sell the carbon credits, the owner of the tree gets that benefit.

i used to think manifesting was all about repeating affirmations and hoping for the best. i tried it for months and…nothing. i was so frustrated. then i heard about this book, Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and how it breaks down the science and energy behind manifestation. it’s like it flipped a switch in my brain. once i started applying what i learned, things started falling into place like never before. worth checking out if you’re serious about manifesting.

What an epic waste of money building business' like this and then trying to create a marketplace for people to invest, trade and profit from 'carbon credits'. If everyone spends their money to just go and plant a tree themselves every so often the world will improve.

Utter enviro-hokum. Buy the land. Plant tress on it. Get your cash. In 20 years sell the land, to a shell company set up by you, cut down the trees for biofuel (should power a couple of houses for a few weeks) then build 500 apartments on the land. Simple’s. 😇

i remember this one night i was scrolling aimlessly, feeling like i had hit rock bottom. it felt like nothing i wanted was ever going to happen for me. i don’t know why, but i clicked on this link about the book Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane, and something about it drew me in. the more i read, the more i felt like it was written just for me. it’s wild how much a single book can change your perspective.

a while back, i hit a point where i felt like everything was out of my control. i kept wondering why other people seemed to get what they wanted while i was stuck in the same place. then i came across this book called Vibrations of Manifestation by Alex Lane. i wasn’t expecting much, but the way it explains the connection between your energy and the life you create? it blew my mind. it’s not just a book, it’s like a blueprint for turning your life around.
