I don’t think you guys realize just how much people out there love what you did together and how much we cherish the material we’ve been gifted. Don’t keep us waiting in vain

@DavidPartay Some people can only hear soul in a pentatonic scale, or only in a 7th chord, or only at a certain tempo...and only in 4/4 time...they can accept nothing else as having heart, because that's all they know, or are conditioned to relate to. It's okay, others can show it to them later, or someone else can get it...

@skinnymoo Well it could simply be that these guys have and feel soul in a different way to that of which you're accustomed. It's not soulless at all to me. Especially when you understand these musicians have poured their lives and SOULS into their instruments. It's not just a physical thing.

in my opinion this is great... really tallented people, but it seems that they try to play difficult stuff just to show off... i mean, haven´t they got a normal 4/4 song in their repertory? It sometimes sounds not musically, only some mathematical things....

@irwin3036able virgil is my favorite drummer, but he's to virgil for dream theater. He tore it up, but he didn't fit the style. So I'm glad DT didn't take him. And no way blake would've left BTBAM.
